Effective power on that build shows up too high because of “50% critical-hit chance against stunned foes” and “Merciless hammer.” Really, opponents are only stunned during shield bash or hammer F1 burst. So if you want a better idea of the effective power, switch those traits off. It plummets to 2400.
Same thing goes with Turtles Defense. That website tacks it on automatically as if you’re always crippled, chilled, etc.
I used to use an all PVT tanky build but it was useless in duels so I dropped it for way more power.
That is my build and even though I don’t do so much dmg I have tons of fun, specially when people think I am an easy target. At the end I kill many people due to the retaliation, spike is simple awesome I have retaliation 1/3 of the time, all the time.

I’m not sure if it’ a good idea to have an on crit proc sigil of fire when your crit chance is at most 24% with fury up. So that’s 30% chance out of a 24% chance to cause a flame blast.
Try using another sigil of energy so as you swap between weapons you get to dodge more or use sigil of force for a bit more damage.
