When you see another warrior in pvp and say “i can kill this guy for sure”…

Really disappointed with the class and with the game, i was hoping for this game to have a good warrior class and not like other mmos that do failure warrior classes, but its like a nightmare no devs can do a good warrior class.

I think we ( warriors ) aren’t to bad in Gw2. Sure we need some “fixes” (not major buffs) but least we aren’t HS spamming Thief’s etc…

Lol what MMO you play where warriors are failed…they are the posterchildren of OP. You rarely see a MMO balance warriors properly lol

Why is there all this QQ in the warrior forums? Go try WvW where every zerg wants a ton of warriors. You will be loved there.

Lol, warriors are great in most games, as for the WvW goes, zerg vs zerg the server lag will put you in such a state that you will be unable to land your AoE stuns and a decently coordinated zerg will destroy these rambo openers quickly without problems. Guardians whoever are a whole different story!

Honestly I think warriors are in a better place than most people think, people just need to think outside the box axe shield gs. GS has the best mobility in the game, hammer has the most cc/damage out of all the weapons in the game. Axe shield hits like a truck… what I’d really like to see is more viable condi builds for warrior, make banners more useful (maybe stack health/second with the trait instead of regen duration), and ways to make bunker warrior possible (I think we can all agree most classes can hold a point better than warrior, shout heals are just pathetic).

What the hell kind of attitude is that? If people don’t want to play WvW just because its not their cup of tea, why would they need to just because they class shines there a little more?

Fact of the matter is, there are problems to be fixed (YES, OUTSIDE THE WORLD OF WvW CAN YOU BELIEVE IT) and A-net hasn’t made much of an effort to even consider the numerous suggestions on the forums.

Warriors are just complicated to balance, their DPS and mobility is way higher than even thiefs. the only thing keeping them “balanced” is their vulnerability to conditions. something as simple as a reliable condition removal could take this class from being “weak” to being completely OP.

Someone mentioned Daoc……and that is also my idea of what a Warrior should be. I remember some epic battles vs Warriors when I was on my Scout. I would start from stealth+range and start shooting. My damage was horrible. Warrior armor in Daoc actually mitigated damage. I would have to kite and stay out of range for a couple of minutes. If the Warrior got to me..I was dead.

GW2 I can keep away fairly easily. My damage isn’t noticeably less even though they wear heavy armor, and I can survive a burst if they do actually get to me once.

1. thing on my wish list for Warriors is make their armor actually do something…IE mitigate damage.

When did the Warrior go from ANet’s “example of a balanced, good place profession used as a standard” to literally everyone “omg we sux so hard we can’t do anything. We worst class out there!”

What changed? What go nerfed really bad? It had to be something that completely changed the profession. That or the Warrior forum community changed.

Warriors are still the most sought for when doing most dungeons. Banner support is what they’re used for in wvw over here, and they aren’t the best in PvP, but not as bad as some people say.
