Since Vigorous Focus is now in the adept tree it makes it a fantastic pickup for any pvp build. I wouldn’t get Warrior’s Sprint because it does not stack with Swiftness. I also highly recommend at least running 2/3 of the following: Balance Stance, Berserker Stance and Endure Pain (I run all 3). With all 3 you will get a good amount of vigor up-time and if you combo this with Superior Sigils of Energy you will be able to dodge like a thief. It’s pretty insane. Try it out

If you run Berserker Stance you have the opportunity for a TRIPLE COMBO. Horray!

Berserker Stance combos very nicely with Cleansing Ire. This is pretty straight forward. They synergize amazingly well to provide you with fantastic condition protection.

Berserker Stance also can be used in fights that are not condition heavy to provide you with a quick burst of adrenaline in order to pull off a full heal from Healing Surge.

PS Berserker Stance works against ground AoE conditions such as thief blinds! This is so clutch especially if you run stuns because the thief thinks he/she is safe for a couple seconds in the blind then BOOM NOPE EAT MY BURST! dead thief.

Throw a shield in the mix with at least 1 mobility weapon and you got yourself some sustain. Enjoy.

People get Warrior’s Sprint (at least I do) because you keep that 25% move speed increase while in combat. Swiftness move speed buff doesn’t work if you’re in combat. At least this makes Warriors harder to kite, especially with the added Dogged March.

Anyways, just my two cents. (:

When someone hits you while you’re in Swiftness, you lose the move speed increase whereas Warrior’s Sprint move speed increase stays with you even when you’re in combat.

Methinks you do not know how swiftness works.

This is incorrect.

You have an out of combat (ooc) movement speed, and an in combat movement speed.

Swiftness in terms of its movement speed gain, isn’t affected by this, it’s just the different changes in movement depending on if you’re in combat.

I don’t recommend anyone picking up the +25% movement speed considering how easy it is to spam SoR.

Uh… with Swiftness, you still move 33% faster in combat than someone without swiftness and in combat.

Wait, what. I thought it was the same as the Thief’s Signet of Shadows?

That sucks… :T Scrap what I said!

That’s not accurate at all…

Normal running speed 100%
Warrior Sprint +25%, total 125%
Swiftness +33%, total 133%

Combat speed is about 75% (Not sure the exact number but thats what it feels like)
Warrior Sprint +25%, total 93%
Swiftness +33%, total 99%

Don’t take this too personal, but it is becoming increasingly obvious to me that you need a little more time with the class considering your recent posts.

Now that this thread has derailed completely, if anyone would care to comment on the stance/dodge concept for some sustainability plz feel free.

Sure back on topic, with the recent move, I still can’t justify taking anything over signet mastery. That trait cuts down your elite from 60s to 48s. Which also means that the time in between reduces from 30s to 18s. I don’t think vigorous focus can compete with that.
