ZAM Berserker Exclusive Reveal
Old Man Burr (War), Bad Hat Ben (Engi), Manly Manny Manson (Guard)
I wonder why people are so hyped about the pingpong skill. It will be useless in pve and pvp for the same reason physical skills are useless.
Displacing mobs in pve is more harmful than useful (see lb ranger) and skills that hit only once in a game type where blind is given out like candy and random dodges are as prevelant as theys are is not going to happen. Plus they compete with stances and i’m pretty sure due to lackluster warrior design overall we needed at least 2 to not be freekills in pvp.
A way for them to be somewhat viable is if the cd is in the 10-15 sec range.
And while they’re at it they could reduce physical cds by 33% too.

Noob question, pls no bully
Can I be a Berserker WITHOUT using torch? Everything sounds great to me, the berserk mode, the rage skills, all that is right up my alley. But I don’t really want to use a torch, and the torch skills don’t sound very interesting.

I presume so. I mean, the specializations would be awfully restricting if you couldn’t.
Ehmry Bay | Omg Brb Icecream Truck (ICEE)
Nothing locks you into using your spec weapon, it’s totally optional. There will probably be a couple of trait choices that either affect the Torch directly or work best in combination with what the Torch offers, but you won’t have to use one if you don’t want to.
Tanya Larina – Human Thief
Finchy Whyte – Sylvari Ranger
So you have to build a full adrenaline bar before you can use this “style”? Sounds really, really cumbersome without something like Berserker Stance.
Updated with the link on the official page. No new info that I seen. They just mention the Friday livestream.

Ok this sounds cool, there may be hope for my warrior after all
I am hoping of off-handed scepter warrior. I would be fun to see.
“One of these skills is Wild Blow, a powerful attack that launches any foe it hits back a large distance with such force that your foe’s own body becomes a projectile that can hit other enemies, knocking them back in turn.”
I want this. Yesterday. This sounds so good
oohh booy… cant w8 to do some “bowling” in WvWvW whit that
Torch is a very meh weapon choice. I’d hoped ANet might make HoT look more like an actual expansion and create a few new weapon types (greataxe plz).
But the spec itself actually looks cool, I’m glad Warrior was taken in the unstoppable/supernatural physical direction rather than any kind of magic stuff.
2 questions:
1. How is this not a straight upgrade of warrior?
2. Can a player-made-into-a-projectile be reflected?

1 — I don’t know, I’m not a theorycrafter.
2 — Nope. Read the article as well as dev responses in these forums, it’s not technically feasible. Nice big red ANet flag on this thread that is titled exactly as needed to point you to the answer https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior/How-to-make-a-player-a-projectile-Berserker/first#post5398655
KILL! MAIM! BURN! KILL! MAIM! BURN! KILL! MAIM! BURN! KILL! MAIM! BURN! KILL! MAIM! BURN! KILL! MAIM! BURN! KILL! MAIM! BURN! etc. etc.
From what they’ve released so far there’s no reason to switch from my current DPS or Phalanx build for PVE end game content (read: Fractals).
Yep, because only knowing one utility, the two weapon skills, and some vague details about the new class mechanic (and not knowing how it will apply to or change 5 of our 7 burst skills) and having no math or number tallies or traits at all is totally enough information to decide whether or not a spec is viable.

From what they’ve released so far, there’s no reason for me to change my Engineer, Thief, or Ranger builds, either.
I guess you don’t know what the words “From what they’ve released so far…” mean.

Especially when you factor in how broken adrenaline decay is right now.
How to defeat berserker:
1.) Run blind spam build
2.) disengage for 5 seconds until all adrenaline decays
3.) Wait for cooldown on berserker stance and signet of rage and engage
It just sounds more annoying than fun.

I think this could be even worse in pve where you kill mobs before your adrenaline bar is full and where it decays completely before you even reach the next mob.
Maybe the berserker tree will have a passive that lets you keep adrenaline like warrior had before the changes.

Try activating to the limit before fights. It should give you full adrenaline Using a heal before a fight also triggers restorative strength in the strength trait line, signet mastery in the arms trait line. Also if you dodge before a fight you trigger reckless dodge, and stick and move. I never have issues with adrenaline.
