Guild Wars 2

I’ve been running a 0/0/30/10/30 build for a while now and decided to record some footage and practice some editing. Any feedback would be great.
Another note, I like to use warbanner to bring something to the table when running in a small group.

Axe is a nice weapon but in WvW I prefer Sword as it has better mobility and with the 3 or with the f1 → weapon swap → 2 combo you also have a lot of damage – but if I had a legendary axe than I would run axe too ^^

Sword has good over time damage. Axe has serious on demand damage which the right setup. I run a 10/0/30/0/30 build with the same axe/shield combo but with hammer in groups. I’m curious what you take in traits. Can you do a quick build for me?

You think it is a full zerker Warrior? His survival looked too good for full zerker. Combine that with his traits and 25k HPs and I’m not so sure it is full zerker.

he has that wxp bonus that gives health so that makes up for quite a chunk. could also be late in the week.

cool vid, he clearly isn’t full zerker though. Eviscerates would probably hit 16K+ on uplevels in full zerker. He probably has anywhere from 90-100% crit damage and maybe anywhere from 2,200-2,400 base power including all foods and and bloodlust stacks.

I’ve tried axe, sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. The autoattacks aren’t really much stronger than sword, withstanding the last hit of the chain. It really doesn’t feel much faster than the sword either in terms of autoattack. I feel like axe is the melee version of the rifle, that it really needs a lot of power and crit damage behind it otherwise it is a bad weapon. I feel like evicerates should be hitting harder with all the crit damage, power and damage modifiers I get. But sometimes I can’t crack even 6K against a decent heavily armored target (maybe around 2,700-2,800 armor) and it can be hard to land sometimes. Against a bunker guardian it hits like a wet noodle.

Hey guys thx for the positive feedback so far. As for my gear, I am running full zerker with toughness runes. As for my trinkets they are the ascended zerker ones that are mixed with valkyrie stats and all my defensive infusions slots including my armor are filled with vitality infusions and on top of that with WvW bonuses and Applied fortitude stacks (gives 250 vitality) explains my high health pool.

If you notice I am not running signet of rage in the entire video because I choose to run Battle Standard for the group. But when I do run signet of rage, I can consistently keep 6-7 might stacks with the Versatile Power trait and my Eviscerates will hit much higher.

There are a few trait setups you can use with sword/shield & GS:
30/0/20/0/20, 20/0/30/0/20, 20/0/20/10/20 or 20/0/20/0/30
I like the 20/0/20/10/20 one with either leg specialist or empower, but atm I am running 20/0/20/0/30 for +25% increased movement speed, +3% dmg/boon on my target and break immobilize with movement skills
As for my gear I use full zerker weapons and armor (still exotic) and for my back and
amulett it is cavalier and the rings/accessories it is knights – or the other way round, doesn’t really matter
Sword and gs is just super fast, I love it – almost nobody can catch me (if u want even more mobility go for Warhorn but I experienced that I am addicted to my shield when I don’t have two 2-handed weapons)

Hes probably full zerker because he doesnt have berzerkers power to get a 15% damage boost or an extra 10% crit damage or 300 power for that matter. 300 defense, a shield and the trait equals a good amount of survivability but I just like 1 shotting with the classics that way nobody can call you OP when you kill them with a vanilla warrior

Raiden’s build belongs to Holy/tM, it already got nerfed once and another build of his got nerfed also. So hes gonna keep it on the downlow sorry guys, unless you guys keep mass spamming/ask for his build 24/7 he’ll eventually share his build like me, mugi, & scarlet. xD

What’s funny is Scarlet has always made his builds known. Let’s be real, you’re being an elitist kitten, and that’s fine, but don’t act like 1 warrior, inspiring other warriors got the build nerfed. That’s just stupid and egotistical in a game that requires no real skill or tact. I could facebash my head against the keyboard everyday and roll 99% of the player base, and given that I’ve tried over 15 builds in the last 2 months whilst recording, it proves just that. Not to mention I have a physical handicap thanks to my military service and have little use in one hand, and still manage.

I know what the build is, perhaps I’ll share it for giggles.
