Do i really have to play a zerker just to be efficient in pve? I feel like warriors are locked into this because its what gets the job done and there is no diversity. I finished my cm armor(the look is nice) which took awhile since people only do CoF mostly, and made it into a zerker set. Now trying for my arah armor with knights gear but realized, i will probably never wear this because most of the time im playing a zerker. I feel like im wasting time and not sure if i should just stop.

yea, ive got 3 almost 4 set of PPC. i just bought some karma PTV, and PTCondition, but i almost never use them, maybe mix some PTV when playing bad, rarely.

I like my knights set, and I hate being a glass cannon… but yes. Generally, the HUGE damage bonus you get from being full zerker is well worth the survival loss.

See, even if you go knights or soldiers set, and 30 into Defense, your survival and sustain will still be rather subpar. I know this first hand. My knight geared warrior and my friends knight geared guardian both do about the same damage, but the guard has about 3 times (Yes, THREE times) the sustain and survival.

Personally i wouldn`t put any toughness because you survive better without toughness. because it makes monsters attack you and warriors arent guardians, they can`t take that much damage. i would rather add more vital for more survibility

It’s not mandatory if you don’t care about being completely sub-optimal.

Someone in the dungeon forum put it well, playing an average Knight’s/PTV warrior compared to playing a full zerk well isn’t even comparable. It’s like a totally different class.

Whenever i use knights gear i still go the zerker traits, i hit lower yeah probably around aroung 5-8k lower on hb so idk i might just get all my gear with zerker stats i guess

Zerker gear is only halfway there. Proper traiting, runes (ruby orbs) and sigils (Sigil of night and/or the target specific sigil) and weapon cycle can almost double your damage output from just the Zerker gear…

But ultimately yes. Until dungeon difficulty gets jacked up it can all be breezed through in Zerker gear. Though its not a bad idea to have your knights set for your first few runs of a new dungeon. Learning which attack to dodge the hard way can be a little more costly in Zerker gear….
