any tips for fighting d/d ele?
to counter d/d eles would require u to time your shield bash, always try to bait out their dodges, or wait till ele comes out of water attunement and start your combos however you only have a very small window frame to down them or they are just gona reset and chase u again, chances are if the ele are not greedy and is patient, you are most likely not gona win or might even get killed in the process of taking them down.

obtain quickness>shield bash>evis>swap to invoke hydro>4 hit of 100b>whirlwind> attack until get dead.
Remember it is really depending on luck. if ele is very much good at duel, you will mostly lose unless you use Rampage.
For shoutbow or banner shout, draw though (none can kill each other). even though you play like very bad.

One thing I’ve done to my warrior build is focus a little on conditions, Poison and Cripple.
Running a specific setup, I immobilize anytime I cripple and inflict poison on weapon swap. Running this with a Sigil of Malice really can destroy a lot of mobility and regen that a LOT of classes focus on.
I’ve had some decent success in 1v1 play, roaming in WvW. The only trouble I’ve had is against Mesmers and really, that probably is just me sucking at fighting mesmers.
It works for me though nicely, that poison is nasty
Ok, Ele player here, I you don’t bait my cantrips, with shield bash you have only one stun, if I have armor of earth or lighting flash I will be out of your burst.
If only mace would not have 130 range, you had a better chance.
if you managed to keep some chill on him a shoutbow can win but mostly it’s a standstill
signet of might with a standard GS rifle Build works fine for me. Havent seen to me many shrug off a killshot.
