I always rage but never quit.
From a pvp perspective it is rarely used.
First of all, it doesn’t really fit in the current meta as you are almost forced to take Berserker Stance and stability. This leaves one open spot, which will usually go to either a signet or another stance as most spec into either one (for vigor or signet cd reduction).
Secondly, its on a rather long cooldown for what it does. Also, its not the best to use as an interrupt due to the 3/4 sec casting + animation time. It gets better if you spec for physical training, however that forces you to go into the Strength line which is rather bad (unless we are talking pve).
nah in PvP i dont think its good unless it gets a big CD reduction but in WvW for me its a must have.
I use it on my Dual sword/LB build cause it already has awesome condition removal so I can spare 2 slots for it along with bulls charge with Doylak Signet or a Stance. Gives me the CC I lack through my weapon sets.

45 second CD, non-mobile, small AoE, countered by Block, Blind and Stability.

For WvW it is just amazing, but targets there are more than tPvP and also I have a luxury food -40 condition duration.

It’s pretty good at stopping enemy revives since it knocks the downed player away. It doesn’t matter if the revivers have stability or not. It interrupts the revive by knocking the downed player away who usually won’t have stability.
Stomp, sword 2 leap to body, stability, spike is a pretty common combo that typically works. Good for stopping stealth revives and stomps as well since thieves usually won’t have stability
Also, it’s a blast finisher.

I think Flurry with a stomp after, then swap to hammer and use that burst skill for AoE stun would be great. Or start with Flurry, Hammer burst and then stomp.
Since they reduced the cooldown yes I often use it, mainly because it looks cool.
I’m generally running GS and sword/warhorn however I occasionally run GS/hammer. I absolutely love chaining stomp > earthshaker > backbreaker.
I’m not sure if the stomp > earthshaker combo is supposed to be unavoidable but it’s never missed for me.
Stomp has a lot of fun applications in WvW! I’ve used it in the past to clear Lord’s room and plant a War Banner to rez the big guy before anyone can stop me.
Stomp is amazing. CD could be shorter, but it’s still one of the best skills Warrior has (speaking PvP).

Stomp is awesome in some situations. In my current build I prefer other abilities which give benefits in any situation. So I rarely use Stomp, e.g. for lord room fights in WvW.
Stomp is amazing for taking the cannon in Skyhammer.
Outside of that, I almost never have it for sPvP
It would be awesome if they made it like the Elite one and I think in that case it would be used much, much more frequently since it would also bring mobility in addition to everything else.

Stomp is awesome in any kind of big WvW battles.
I love running Balanced Stance + Dolyak Signet + Stomp: 3x Stun breaks, 2x long duration Stability, 1x short duration Stability with AoE knockback.
Great combo for frontline Warrior. Combined with Mobile Strikes, Cleansing Ire, Dogged March, Lemongrass Poultry Soup, and Melandru Runes, I’m practically un-cc’able.
That said, I’m running a build now where I need For Great Justice! more than Stomp for Fury uptime and guaranteed Earthshaker crits, but I swap into Stomp whenever I can.
Situationally Stomp is amazing, and since I routinely forget to put situational utilities back on my bar it just stays there. And that’s how I like it. Nothing like Earthshaker > Stomp inside a Shadow Refugue then wait a few seconds to stomp a downed Thief.
It’s very hit and miss. Or block and miss, I should say.

I’ve been using stomp even before it was buffed. Now that it’s been buffed, I really love having it on my bar.
I don’t think it needs to be ground targeted, although that would make it more of an engagement tool. I generally try to save it for the stun break though. Opponent stunning you becomes you stunning the opponent.
It can be a bit annoying for your teammates though since you can push whole groups out of their attacks, but yeah… Poor old kick can’t really compete with stomp, IMO.
