i just come back to this game and wanted to see if the changes to warrior does anything at all, this guy tells me how good arcing slice is and how he hits with it 11-12k consistently on players. which i find weird since the thing is lower than a stage 1 eviscerate-
i argued on how that skill is not gonna hit that much and he got mad- called me a bad player and blocked me

so i did a test on light golems with 2 banners- 6 2 0 0 6 with all the damage traits i can possibly stack
scholar runes
Zerk amulet
BANNER OF STRENGTH + DISCIPLINE
-24 stacks of vulnerability and 8 stack of might

i’d say that that stats in a player v player is hard to beat

the hardest i ever hit under these experimental condition was 9.5k. I dont understand how people make 12ks with out banners and its very hard to imagine getting 24 stacks of vuln on someone

so how do people get these crazy numbers?

The highest dmg I got out of arcing slice in pvp was 9.1k, which is already very high. I don’t think it can surpass 10k.

In WvW its very well possible.

so its not a case of me being bad its simply some guy thinking he was so very good and making up numbers~

Arcing slice is similar to Rush damage, do you get 12k rush ? i dont think so.

but in the other side its an awesome condi clear, 5 targets cleave and combined with SoR is a great way to keep high Fury up time.

Pretty much, and preferably a glass light armored profession. Either way it’s not something anyone should expect to see.

News flash: Berserker’s Power doesn’t work with burst skills anymore. Both Eviscerate and AS are kitten in PvE. 12k arcing slice is not believable in PVP.

Works great for my PS build with that extra fury and cleave and the damge is decent post 50%. Not great for the GS/ Ax/Mac meta but it’s still better than it’s original version of a 1target /low damage /fury skill

I would guess that http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bowl_of_Seaweed_Salad

was used for +10% more damage

Went full zerk/power/ferocity and only managed 8.3K hit in PvP with it.
