I do a several testing about whirl finisher.

The whirl finisher should cause projectiles when we stand on the combo field.

Like what they did in this video.

(fgs has 3 bolts, ranger axe 5 has about 11 bolts)

There should have “mutiple” bolts during the skill casting.

But, I found that warrior axe 5 only has “one” bolt at end of the skill casting.

And, greatsword 3 also has only one bolt.

if the number of bolts is associate with skill duration.

ranger axe 5 = 5.25 sec ~ 11 bolts = 1 bolt / 0.5 sec

warrior axe 5 = 3.5 sec should have 7 bolts not only 1 at the end of the skill .

And if bolts is associate with the number of turns.

The geatsword 3 should have 2 bolts in stead of 1.

fgs has 3 turns = 3 bolts and greatsword skill 3 has 2 turns, theoretically, there should be 2 bolts.

I believe there is something wrong with the skill setting.

or did anet already explain this before ?

Because I didn’t see anyone discussing about warrior’s whirl finisher.

it is too weak compared with other profession’s whirl finisher.

Because whirl finishers really don’t matter anywhere.

Until you meet a d/p thief that drops a blind powder and uses the stolen whirl that you get from warriors.

All they needa do is activate the whirl inside the blind field and it’ll keep blinding regardless if you’re in or out of the field.

Light field + whirling wrath is a pretty solid condition cleanse.

the number of whirl bolts depends on the number of times the whirl damages. gs3 does 4 ticks
