its been quite the while since i’ve played and low and behold trait resets. Since i have utterly no clue what my old build was, just looking for a new one!
currently running axe/axe gs with assassins and beserkers gear!

It can be a good build, for PvE. If you spent 4 trait point in Discipline you can obtain that every critical hit whit your axe give you 2 adrenaline. Whit your build that can grant you perma-Adrenaline. Whit 6 point spent in Discipline you can obtain a better Perma-Adrenaline, whit +7% damage on Eviscerate.
And the skill 5 of Axe can give a lot of damage, whit the boost of 17% from the last patch. and if well used in team you can fire 15 X bolts (fire bolts, weakness bolt, healing bolts, etc) and make a good combo.

Add to all that Some good traits to increase the power of the GS and gain might, use 100Blades combined whit Evisceraete and skill 5 of the Axe and you obtain a incredible amount of damage whit a simple weapon and skill rotation!
(GS 100Blades, swap, axe skill 5, Eviscerate, swap, 100Blades, swap…)

For dungeon that is one of the best combination, at the moment. Expeciallu from the “nerf” of Adrenaline.

Not really, you lose a ton of damage using Axe skill 5 compared to just the auto-attack. As for an off-hand with Axe you’re better off with a Warhorn, Sword, or Mace depending on the situation. I recommend watching Nike’s dungeon build video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/user/TurboDzan

Whirling axe actually has shown success to me. It isn’t as much the damage as it is the fact that they see a ball of swirling death coming to them and they panic. It really is effective in more ways than damage.

You mean in PvP? every time i see it, i laugh and kill them…

Not viable in PvP. You can kill scrubs with it but what you really need is some defense and cc on you offhand. All other off hands are a better alternative. It was possibly better before they increased the damage on it when you could dodge roll and continue channelling. With roll damage you could actually get a spike with it and it allowed you to catch up or keep pace with who you were chasing, plus the actual dodge.
