So i came back after a 1-2 month break and all my skills are messed up… my build is disgusting and my skill pts are gone.
Took me some time to figure the new trait system.. but lots of traits were moved and that kinkittened up a lot.
I used to run with hammer/ sword warhorn..with trooper runes and healing shouts to help the zerg.. it was just fine.
But now they placed the trait to reduce warhorn skills cooldown in the same slot as the emppwered that gives %dmg from the boons on you..
That was the key for my build. I run with a sigil to get a random boon on hit just because of that trait.. and now if i use the % dmg adder my warhorn skills are longer cooldown.. thats already bad.. but i don’t know if i noticed wrong but it feels like the number of affected targets is lower…
Another thing i noticed is that cleansig ire is in the same slot as the skill that gives 1000 toughness on stun break.. thats bad in my opinion too since you have to choose between extra defs or extra adrenaline + clear cond on burst..
There were quite a few of these small chqnges and it feels like sword / warhorn is really not that effective anymore.
Am i missing something?
For zerg fights the hammer/ sword warhorn was always great..
But i feel they nerfed this playstyle quite a bit with new trait system…
What you guys think??

Well, a lot of build got nerfed across all professions, but at the same time a lot of new builds became available. It’s a nice change if you ask me – I love the new warrior traits.

And about Cleansing Ire and Rousing Resilience in the same tier; I guess it’s because they both are defensive traits. I mean, the fact that you don’t know which one to use means it’s no longer just picking the best trait, since they are both good. You need to pick the one you like the best, which I think is what the devs want – trying to make all traits useful.
I do agree through, that with the nerf to warrior gs mobility, warriors need some new stuff to make us survive
