balance in burst skills
Axe: the range on the leap is a joke and the damage is mediocre; I see no reason to have this in your main hand instead of a sword atm.
I run a dual axe warrior in sPvP and I can confirm that the eviserate dmg is not a joke. The leap, I agree, is quite short, but with my build, I can drop most classes (excluding certain ones like guardians and necros, expecially if they death shroud) in a matter of seconds if eviserate hits.
I just stacked up crits and and I use berserk to fill up my adrenaline very quickly. If you’re having trouble staying in range to land your eviserate well, use bull rush or the root utility skill.
Watch out that your eviserate doesn’t get blocked or dodge, else you’re gonna have a rough time.
tbh a range increase is probably all the axe elite skill needs
kill shot hits for 9 times the auto attack damage, which you can only do three or four of in the time it takes to KS. hell, since i get 13k crits on it and 700 crits with auto attack, it’s actually much more than 9×.
evis being mediocre doesn’t deserve proper discussion.
only one i think on your list makes any sense is skull crack. it should hit multiple targets.
Probably just not listing the numbers properly then; I haven’t actually run damage tests on any of these. Well at any rate I’m glad to have my answer.
You’re complaining about bad burst skills and yet you bring up some of our best ones while completely ignoring the greatsword’s terrible burst ability? I don’t know what to think about this topic.
I’m a little unsure about the mace one. The hammer definitely has some large advantages over it, but the mace burst also comes out faster. I think it works pretty well with a Mace/Shield setup, where every single ability you have is a block or interrupt of some sort that you can rotate to keep yourself from taking any damage from a single target.
