i got myself ascended Entropy which cost a lot for me, now hammer takes a massive nerf bat and i regret every making it can i have it removed and have a ~65g return?

Hammer was never useful outside of sPvP. You made a mistake the second you thought otherwise.

no its nice in wvw and bashing around dredge, honestly its great for jumping puzzles too. i’m kidding about me wanting my entropy removed, but think of the people who got Juggernaut, how do they feel when they take it up? the feeling of loss that its never as great as it once were, the sorrow over the long journey of getting a legendary and BAMN!!! Nerf bat (shoulda gotten twilight eah)

funny how of the few people that i fought when i was using a hammer in hot join they can dodge my backbreaker/earthshaker(oh Heresy!!! thous skills come out faster than instant cast shout!!! how did the people u mentioned possibly did it?? musta be hax)

to be honest i find earth shaker Nerf was fair but nerfing staggering blow is a bit lame

Heh. I have 2 ascended Entropy. And will finish Predator soon, just for aesthetics.

I made Juggernatu by selling Dusk I got form mf. Should have made Twilight, or trade Dusk for Dawn. No hammer in pve where only damage counts. Its time to roll mace+shield/gs for wvw or some conid with perplexity runes- hammer, sword+sword or sword+shield, time will show.

Hammer is a great weapon to use in zerg WvW situations and a very nice melee train one . About these upcoming changes ? ok a little bit harsh but i am having a blast playing a support warrior with hammer atm in zergs and still do quite nice dmg , and offer my CC .

There’s actually a pretty large part of the population that plays SPvP, but saying hammers are useless outside of it makes it sound like someone hasn’t been playing the game that long. Hammers are useful pretty much everywhere, but the damage did need to be toned down a bit. Maybe not 20%, we’ll wait to see how that feels, but Earthshaking a group of players, or even in 1v1, then switching to mace+shield to spam the cc, all while doing pretty brutal damage is kinda bad. Not saying it’s OP, but it’s nice it’s being addressed.

Saying hammer is useless is an exaggeration, it still does fine. Saying it’s ideal is different. Don’t drop the playstyle you love just because it isn’t “ideal” anymore though, that is like the definition of bandwagoning.

If you bought entropy for 65g, its a brain you want refunded not your gold

Can you send me your Hammer so I can use it? I’ve been Hammer since my Warrior was a wee one, for sPvP, WvW, and non-champion PvE. Champion PvE comprises < 1% of my time in-game, and I used it through the time where everyone claimed it was a terrible weapon (note: it was about the same back then).

You assume that hammers will not be viable after patch, but it will still be viable as CC and more so since if you build your hero like for say a boon warrior, he or she will be consistently strong still in wvw.

You can always have your berserker set for pve stuff – exo and all (unless it’s fotm, where you can use your ascended ar gear.
