Well, i do care a little bit, in fact. If i cannot get onto high level tier with soloq only with only warrior and only with my build, i am done in that case.

Anyway, since Arenanet rekted both builds, ShoutBow and Banner Shout, i literally cannot do a single thing.

Still not sure, but Malpractice has been sucessfully winning in league as warrior only and with only his build, I should stop it anyway, since it means he is better than me or
Tarcis or Crysis or whoever as warrior, as a dude and a man who knows when to accept the reality

Or i just play the class differently, without using shouts, and you’re more than welcome to use it :-)

That doesn’t make me a better player than the above mentioned people, it just might (unsure) make my build better for the current meta and what warriors are up against.

Luck also has a place in this conversation, as well.

Although some of the GW2 community can be somewhat offensive (the magic of internet), I don’t think anyone “hates” you, you know… Well, I don’t. It’s just how it works around here, sadly.

You uselessly stirred up something in this forum and reaped what you sowed. I’m saying this without animosity.

To be honest and as far as I’m concerned, I didn’t know you outside those forums and, as such, never considered you the Top NA Warrior or whatsoever, had you or not this signature. Simply because I never saw you taking part in any ESL Tournaments.

In GW2, duelling skills are not officially recognized since it’s not how PvP works. Maybe you really are (or were) one of the best NA warrior but as far as I know, it would be only based on your duelling skills, which means really little in this game for it is really biased…

I’m not trying to be offensive here, right ? It was just to clarify things a little bit.

Two things to conclude then :

1) You giving a title that never existed to some random dude doesn’t make it real. Malpractice never asked for any of this and is simply trying to enjoy warrior, exactly the way I’m enjoying it despite its current state.

2) Guys like Tarcis won’t duel anyone to prove warrior sucks since it’s irrelevant to him. If he says that warrior is currently bad, he means it meta-wise, not duel-wise. No one ever said you couldn’t duel with a warrior anymore, it’s just that the class is currently outclassed by every other in any role. Meaning Tarcis can’t risk himself to play warrior in ESL Pro League since he would contribute tanking his team, no matter how good he can be.

That’s a pretty fat wall of text, but I had the feeling it needed to be done. I don’t want you to leave GW2 on a misunderstanding (even though I can understand if you want to quit).

EDIT : I myself go up the ladder using a pure DPS build. GS/Axe-Shield, Zerk amulet and Signet of Might. It’s far from being optimal but I love my warrior too much to let it go.

In the end, it’s not complicated : either you like warrior and are mainly SoloQing, then it’s fine, or you want to achieve something bigger and more structured (with a roster) and you currently have to drop warrior. Simple as that.

You know how you could have kept that subscriber? By dropping “Best Warrior NA” title without making a thread about it. And please, just retire already and stop the attention-seeking posts. Trust me, they’re not helping.
