No, warrior is special and will get the best elite spec ever. They don’t want to make the other classes jealous though by saying anything until the end.
I’m not really anxious. All classes have distinct and strong identities, and they’ve managed to consistently maintain a pretty good balance over time (with the occasional adjustment here and there). I’m confident they’ll do a good job with the warrior, deepening its game play without betraying its fundamentals. Just wait and hope!
The hardest concepts usually turn out to be some of the best in the end because more thought had to go into it.

Honestly I don’t think they can screw up warrior, they aren’t really hurting for anything in particular so the devs are more free to create something interesting. Mesmer, Necro, Guard all had some gaps that needed to be filled.
GW2 is one of the very few fantasy MMOs that doesn’t have a truly viable melee warrior. The only truly desirable build warriors have now is a weird melee bowman buffer. If you want an all out melee DPS brawler you’re pretty much out of luck if you’re playing GW2. Medi Guard comes close, but it’s a totally different flavor.

…that is why, we have heard nothing about warrior specialization till now.
There was a Heart of Thorns map preview where it showed a Warrior with an F2. But at the same time, Robert Gee is looking somewhat promising so far, giving the elite specs themselves really high trade-offs. I would like to see how this would work.

i tried and i can not think of any weapon that would be cool and does not exist in terms of usage for warrior…

Did it occur to you that with 8 classes and a new 9th class and doing one specialization per week that some specializations would come before others?
