Guild Wars 2

I should hit level 80 in the next day or two. I mainly want to play wvw. I’m not interested in spending a lot of time and effort to get the best looking gear. I just want adequate stats. I assume that exotic gear will work for this. Is it worth it to level my armorsmithing and weaponsmithing to get exotic gear or should I grind badges, karma, etc..

I’m considering a eviscerate build with sword/x offhand for mobility, or a condition sword build. Are either of these viable for WvW?

Ascended gear release made a lot of gear really cheap to purcase. If you don’t care about looks that’s probably the fastest way. Putting in buy orders will probably allow you to get a full set of gear for under 10g. (2-4 weapons and 6 armor pieces). Laurel your trinkets.

Get cavalier armor, knights or zerker trinkets, and cavalier weapons, at least to start out. That covers pretty much any power build you can have. Then you can start getting gear for more obscure builds.
