I can beat pretty much any class in wvw but engineers
Some of them can take me down so easy it’s funny.
Is anyone having the same problem?

Get some condi clear

Full on condi engineers are a tough fight, as are power engis (but you don’t come across them so much) although I’ve found playing high DPS works on condi engis, I beat most I come across now (still a tough fight). Going tanky against them is pointless so you need to be in their face constantly, and knowing when to dodge and strike helps. Axe/Shield+Greatsword is what I use; full zerk.

Condi Engi’s can be tough fights but the general rule I like to follow is.

Always stay aggressive, they tend to be pretty squishy, at least the ones that I’ve fought. Keep your immobilizes and cripples on them as much as possible and just pressure them to the point where they have to blow a lot of important skills or where they can’t really counterattack you. Stuns also really help with that.

If you use mace+shield/greatsword you can kitten near reflect their confusion and blinds with the pistol all of the time. And if you stun them with the mace, it can spell trouble for them because I notice a lot don’t carry stunbreaks.

If you use longbow, you can blind using the #4, kite them and slowly wear them down and use your other weapon to finish the job. Grenades tend to be more effective in melee range because most of them hit. And use the F1 to clear any condis you have.

Last thing but most important thing. Watch out for supply crates. The supply crates can easily take away 50% of your HP in a few seconds and easily lose you the fight. If you can bait the elite out of the engi early the better. And when he does use it, use Berserker Stance/Balanced Stance to mitigate most of it and condi clear by hitting the turrets with your F1. Your stuff is 60/40 second CD, his is 180 second CD.

Engineer’s have next to no stability.
