Guild Wars 2

just coming back to the game after a couple months away. i quit my warrior at 50 for a couple reasons:
1) he was a ginormous norn who seriously effed with the camera on those jump puzzles where you need to stick close to the outside wall of a tower.
2) i grew to loathe underwater combat and i hit a spot where the personal story and two different zones required a bunch of underwater combat to proceed.

well now that i shelled out $5, he’s positively dainty.

you guys got any tricks up your sleeves for underwater combat? i guess it just seems so slow and deliberate because you can only handle one enemy at a time, at least if i get 2 or 3 i’m dead.

my gear is up to date, right before i quit i bought a bunch of level 50 armor and sigils or runes or whatever. running with the 5 signet build; i ain’t married to it, i’d gladly change it to kick kitten underwater.

traits i’m at 20/20 in vit and toughness, whatever they’re called. got destroyed in my first dungeon and had to reevaluate. in pve 1-2 mobs don’t feel any slower and pull 5-7 for aoe and end a full health almost every time.

For PvE:
R. Shot>H.Pull>T.Slash>Parry>M. Frenzy

I use (harpoonpull if at range) frenzy>Tzunami>whirling>frenzy
then either use block to gain time for another frenzy or whirling
or switch to harpoongun untill CDs are up again

thanks dudes. i think switching to a spear was 80% of the solution.

Harpoon Gun for Warrior is one of those finicky weapons that do more damage the further away you are.

So kite kite kite. Or whatever the nautical term is for kiting.

i can’t avoid adds when i’m sitting still underwater. no freaking way am i trying to kite down there.

4 is an Immobilize and 5 is a repeated Knockback, which helps. I prefer the Spear anyhow.

warrior got the most powerfull underwater combat ,from all the classes i played.
Spear is awsome, 2 and 5 got good burst, 4 block attacks , with 3 and f1 you CC your enemy

well i killed a veteran shark with 2 adds last night, so mark this one solved.
