i was doing class quest and tell me to pick witch war-banner vigil or 2 others im like not sure i just picked vigil but game doesn’t say what u get out of it if u picked one of them game should of told me but then i found out whisper one would give me extra like 10% cri chance for my warrior this is unfair i want to re pick i send mail to gm to help me

GAME should of told me what will happen if i pick this is poor, i wont keep playing until i can re-pick not re rolling thx

Pretty sure the order of whispers doesn’t give you extra crit chance….

but still all armor u get from game war banner gives u extra stats no matter what set u get

How many games do you know tell you exactly what happens whenever you make a choice in said game? Not any game I’d play, that’d be boring as hell.

The wikipedia is there for a reason. When you create your character, you don’t know what skills he’ll or stats have until you look it up or play the game as said class. Is this poor design? No it’s just the game.

poor design because wont tell you when it should because them stats might not fit your Play style stop sticking up for there misstake what would healing stats do fro warrior i want dps not defff

Joining an order in itself doesn’t give you any stats as far as I know. The only differences stats-wise are if you buy the exclusive armor set of your order… and I don’t think they’re any better than other sets you can buy elsewhere, so what stats they give aren’t really that important is it?

Almost 9 gold for a “rare” armor set seems too expensive for what you get anyway. There’s far better deals on the trading post.

The Order itself wont grant you any extra bonuses. Their armor gives different bonus stats. Whispers gives you nearly 200 precision what you have to divide by 20-21 to get how much extra crit chance you get with it. That’s around 10 % as you said.

BUT

if you hit lvl 80 don’t go for a RARE set for almost 9 gold as they are not the 100% end game armors. You can buy like 4 exotic armor piece on broker with the stats you want on that price.

Also completing the 3 Orr area for 100% you will get exotic armor pieces in range 75-80 depends how lucky are you.

so when i ding lvl 80 what is best armor i should get me for? or what sould i aim at for my frist set?

Go to lions arch, ask in /map for an armorsmith to link level80 exotic armor with the three stats you want for your character (bezerker = power, precision, crit damage).

WHAT? YES it is poor game design you blind fanboi. They need to polish some aspects of the game to give instruction as to the effect of some of the choices we make rather than force us to make the choices blindly…that would be boring to you, huh? Get real.

They should tell us the import of the choices we make so that we can make an informed decision. It would not be all that difficult to explain the significance of the choice..even if you then had to look up whether the additional crit is something you would want on the Wiki….. With no explanation as to the effect of your choice, you are simply pushing a button with no idea of the effect that the choice has on your character. YES…the failure to explain the significance of the choice is POOR game design…take off the rose colored glasses.

With no explanation as to the effect of your choice, actually the game leaves you with the choice to either inform yourself or play the game as it was intended: on what feels like the best choice to you regardless of the uniform or potential stat boosts. This is what simply every choice-based game is designed around, I call to example InFamous, the entire Persona series, the entire Disgaea series, and many more. When you played through Fallout: New Vegas, did the game tell you what you’d get depending on which faction you picked? No, it did not. In Deus Ex: Human Revolution, does it give you the different outcomes for the different speech options before you pick them? No, it does not. I care not for your accusations of fanboyism, simply because I make a sound point. You argue in favour of the game holding your hand the entire game through? Great! Go play a different game then.

well thats kitten lame. if i knew that i would have went OoW too. I went Vigil because, im a warrior, the vigil likes to kitten kitten up on the front lines, yeah, sounds fitting.

I realize English is not your first language but if you are going to rant about something on a forum, at least try to form a single clear thought instead of sounding like a spoiled 6 year old who is pouting because your parents bought you the blue one instead of the red one.

Actually I take that back, my 6 year old speaks clearer and makes more sense then your rants do.

Yeah really sucks now you can’t spend 8g on a set that is only rare when you can craft with that same 8g most if not all of an exotic armor set.

Yeah that’s sarcasm by the way. Seriously rares are for skins and a stepping stone to exotics. In some cases they aren’t even worth getting.

Wow. So you want the game to explicitly tell you in detail all about the order’s armor set before you pick?

Welcome to 2012 where any information you could possible want is readily available at your finger tips. In all of known history, it’s never been easier to educate yourself on most any topic. The internet is a wonderful place that has many more uses than simply playing games online y’know?

The knowledge is out there. Don’t expect it to be served up on a silver platter to you before you make any “permanent” decisions.

I can only say that I made my choice only when I knew which armor set I truly wanted. Not because of stats but the look as I will eventually move it over to a stat set I need and desire. However I understand you might be upset you didn’t get the storyline you wanted but the good news is you can level and alt and experience that story on an alt. I made sure to have one of each character choose a different storyline so I can experience all three. In all honesty though they tie in together much more than they separate.

If the armor doesn’t satisfy you the good news is there are tons of armor that does. I can’t stand the human cultural armor but I still made my main a human male warrior. I just will find armor that satisfies me. In the end it’s not game changing or game ending.

While i could say you’re over reacting…which you are, level 80 rares don’t matter at all, except for the skins, even though you have better choices for level 80 armor (exotic) that look’s better. By the time you probably even would of had the amount of good necessary, and the fine trans. stones you would be approaching level 80 already. I don’t want to be harsh, but you’re demanding they fix this for you, otherwise you’ll quit playing a game you’ve already possibly paid all you will pay for this expansion for? Does this not seem a little self centered to you? It may also be the usage of the language, but i can see English is not your primary language; therefore, it’s probably not that.

Bleh….After looking at the other two’s armor, I’m sooooo glad I went with Vigil. Besides, it has pretty good stats. Just add the upgrade stones for precision.
