a) Torment; what a ridiculous half thought of application of a condition. I could see a second DoT attack with a base dmg but something that ticks on move?

b) Blind: this condition is out of control lately the reapplication of it is just too easy.

Both of which absolutely hurt Melee builds; A-net should have gone with one or the other but not both.

Warrior need super habilities for be able to fighting super human habilities like perma stealth, perma fear, perma protection+regeneration+aegis, summon spammers, etc…

Warrior are outclassed.

I can’t believe that some ppl from ANet made Diablo 2 barbarian, shame on you guys. For any warrior in any game there are at last 2 ways:
1) insane dps
2) bunker build with high survivability

First option ANet destroys with every patch, second doesn’t exist at all

a) can be countered by not moving unless you have to, use blocks make you invul or if you don t have that many skilsl like this then focus the necro and kill jhim first

b)blind is easy to counter just just fast attacks instead iof slow that huit hard, you iwll hit fster as the blinds tick and gg

Ps: i m playing with GS and mace/shield with projectile reflection on block

1) Thief has same lvl of dps, can vanish anytime and restore to full life. As a melee class warriors should have far better dps not equal.

Blind: swing at them and actually miss. It’s a pain but it ensures that you can’t simply swing wildly to remove blind.

Torment: take 900 damage over 5 seconds. Stop whining about it and grab cleansing ire.

People overreact to minimal changes like this. Blind I can understand, because it can be reapplied and makes even veteran scouts in WvW an issue for melee warriors, and I’m forced to use my fire field on my longbow to keep blind down each pulse while I melee them down for damage.

As for torment, it’s implementation shouldn’t be taken so seriously. They don’t want you to stop moving, that’s stupid. They just gave 3 classes an extra condition so that they have slightly more build diversity. Don’t expect to see any of the strong builds currently changing their utility skills and weapons to use torment (necros have a very short torment on DS, but its effect is abysmal). It’s not a bad thing, and it’s rare that you’ll ever die from it. I’ve done test after test fighting condition builds in sPvP who use torment, and in the death breakdown, Torment is near the bottom.

This build has no conditons removal at all, low hp, low def, this is useless hybride build with easy to evade GS attacks, not even close to good bunker build.

Torment covers conditions I need to remove.
Blind change is huge if your not in range your stuck on blind. So I have to get in range, miss an attack, then finally be able to do anything again.

its for roaming and good soustain with all the blocks and evades and stuns

only weakness is cond.
2 possibilities
1)you kill him first
2)you got a mate with team cond.removal

Bring melandru runes or -condi food and pop berserkers stance when you are ready to do a game changing skill like earthshaker. -%165 condition duration will make you nearly invincible to blind. Only very heavy condition builds will be able to blind you and since thieves are the biggest blind spammers but none of them bring enough condi duration you should be in good shape.

berserker stance has too high a cd? well if i recall correctly you can trait to have it activate when you gain 5 stacks of might. so activating SoR will give you berserker’s stance also. also you can trait to have stances last longer.

lets not forget that berserker stance also sticks you adrenaline so its not like we are doing all of this just for blind spammers

When I saw this line I didn’t read the rest. If you truly recommend not to move with a warrior which is a kite bag, I think it is about time you reroll a class you know better.

People who are really good at with other professions complain about low survivability of warrior even with 30 defense and 30 tactics and you think 30 defense and 0 tactics will make a good survival warrior? I really think you should actually try sPvP or tPvP before making comments

Cleansing ire is just overrated. You have to land a blow for it to work. Considering you as a warrior are just a kite bag and lame gap closer melee class, you most of the time cant find a chance to blow F1 in the right time to remove those conds. Considering ncsoft has its nose in gw2 a lot lately, I dont expect those shiny colorful range skills loving koreans to allow an unfancy melee class to be any good. I know from aion and other ncsoft games. I, as a warrior fan in all mmos I have played so far, never felt my warrior to be nonwarrior -like this much. This class should be renamed I think, this is not a warrior class rest of the game industry knows of.

If you’re going at least 10 points down Strength, Restorative Strength and Mending is an awesome combo for condi clear. Probably the best PvP-related trait in the Adept tier of Strength.

It doesn’t always combo nicely, but it usually makes sure that Mending’s 2 condi cures are outside of Cripple, Chill, Immobilize, or Weakness.

@ zafer if you had looked at the build you can stop moving by using your block skills
or if its a condition necro then they got not too much def/hp then you can use your f1 bashing skill stun them so they can use any skills switch fast to gs and simply use hb
no big deal
