I’ve never seen any warrior put 30 into strength (GS build) for a while or build something like 30/20/x/x/x or 30/25/x/x/x

most I ever see is 20/x/x/x/x and sometimes they won’t even use that line…

In which aspect of the game are we talking about here?

Last time i checked, the warrior meta was 30/25/0/0/15 in PvE ofc. This was however a while ago so it may have changed.

30/20/0/0/20

I use 30 Strength all the time.

The only problems I have are the traits for 10 strength and the minor trait for 25 strength.

EVERYONE looking to play a power DPS build should be using 30 in Strength. I don’t know any Warrior who doesn’t.
The +15% damage from full adrenaline is key for DPS.

I play 30-10-0-0-30 on my Axe/Mace, 30-20-0-0-20 on my GS.
Sure those might not be the best traits, but you should always have +15% damage.

idk, some dps/zerker warriors do it a bit different. some go 0/0/30/10/30 with full zerker armor

i’m really invested in making a mace-zerker build because Sundering Mace/Cull the Weak is just yelling in my face and plus the mace auto-attack does a lot of damage anyway.
Which runes are the best DPS runes? I’m looking at runes of the thief, runes of the eagle or i could just stick with ogre runes and run pure power build

30 in defense, by definition, is not a DPS build. Your kidding yourself if you think thats good DPS. Now if youre talking pvp, thats differebt

I use it in spvp. I also use Bolas to help me kill people with 100 blades.

I can kill hambows with double stability in utility, but if they get my without them I’m dead.

Yeah, I’m 30 deep in Strength. That +15% damage on top of 300 power is slick, especially with the 25 in Arms. I throw on Physical Training to lower Throw Bolas cooldown to aid my immob tricks with the Cripple=Immob trait. The adept I swap between Death From Above, Great Fortitude, and Dual Wielding.

Mace isn’t a great DPS weapon. Its way to slow. Main hand axe on the other hand…

As for runes, scholar or ruby orbs if youre cheap or cant keep the 6th bonus.

Is the Berserker Power trait still bugged? Used to only give 8% instead of 15%, wonder if they fixed that yet.

I don’t understand your question, because 30 in strength is in most meta warrior builds, someone deluded you.

For runes, go with ruby orbs – cheap and efficient.

You can’t be a DPS/zerk warrior if you aren’t 30 in strength. 300 power and +15% damage is a huge difference. I won’t do the math, but my guess is taking 30 in strength and switching to full knights would still put out more DPS than what you are talking about.

My DPS build is 30-10-0-0-30 and has been ever since they moved berserker’s power and heightened focus to GM traits. Full zerk with ruby orbs and zerk trinkets. Sometimes I swap trinkets for Cavalier if I find I am having trouble staying in combat.

I like zerker builds but the problem is that they are glassy ofc. (usually) and if you could find a good balance between defense + crit and crit damage mostly, that would be pretty cool

You could mix in some Knights and Valkyrie into you gear for a little extra survivability while still keeping decent DPS. Use a tool like gw2buildcraft and try different combinations out.
