I know thiefs are able to 1HKO some squishies. But is warrior axe able to do the same? I seen a warrior a few days ago that shield bashed some one then used evicerate and the guy just dropped, I have been looking for a build where I can just blow people up but the only class that I knew could do that was thief is evicerate that strong?

Eviscerate 1HKO builds are completely unreliable.

To get those crits:
- you must be <50% health, you can easily die in 2 hits
- you must have 25 bloodlust, you go down and back to kill 25 mobs
- you must have full adrenaline
- OMM must not be on CD nor removed
- target must not have protection / aegis
- target must be stunned before Evis

Even those times you can get that scenario, it will still fail to crit a lot of times.
You could use Unsuspecting Foe to fix that, but you’d lose 20% damage on Evis therefore no 1hko.

Can you imagine if they changed Desperate Power into 20% dmg vs targets with less than 50% health?

Just keep in mind 1HKO builds are sort of unreliable. Great fun for WvW and hot joins, but I wouldn’t use one for serious tournaments and the like.

As for thieves, they don’t do 1 hits, it’s more like hits 3 really quickly. The highest I’ve been able to go on normal level 80 targets are around 16k backstabs :P

Rifle can 1hit kill, doesn’t necessarily require low health, and obviously can be done from distance.

I’m currently running GS/Rifle and it’s great. Can go full damage single target, or lose some damage and have rifle pierce.

Was trolling baddies that outnumbered us in WvW this week with a couple guildies, pulled out my rifle without even swapping out of a 30/0/0/10/30 build, among other things instantly downed 2 real lvl 80 rangers from full hp with 20k killshots without stacking might/vuln/banners and volleyed those dumb glass thieves thru their stealths :P

Not really gonna accomplish much in real fights but these were people that could see a kill shot being charged and wouldn’t do anything about it.
