One of the most appreciated weapon combo is the hammer / longbow, abbreviated “hambow”. It can be played either with berserker gear or soldier gear, and works very well with stances. Great control, nice condition management through frequent burst rotations, good damage – it gives wonderful results in small combats.

There are lots of other possible builds, though. Do not hesitate to share what kind of weapons you like, so that the community can come back to you with ideas. Personally, I currently play axe / shield with a rifle, with a focus on might stacking, for a high-damage high-pressure build. It’s a bit special, but quite fun to play, without definite class nemesis.

It’s quite tanky while still dishing out some really good DPS.

I have been trying various build I found that the shout heal build seems to really work well. You will never die 1v1, you can even 1v2 most of the time. You can do good damage, and can support allies as well.

I’ve been using that Hydromancy/Doom sigil combo in PvE now as well, it’s a really strong sigil set.
