I am fortunate enough to get a lot of gold from some old friends.
I wanted to know what gear specifically to buy for a PvE dps berserker

I wanted to know how much it would cost to gear it. I don’t need the super end game gear but I was told around 500 gold could gear my char for fractals and dungeons etc

Can someone tell me the stats I look for or if the gear names are static, what gear to buy from the TP?

If you buy all pieces of Exotic gear (armor, weapon, trinkets) from the TP you will need 40 -80 gold. No way to spend 500 gold lol, if you won’t pay attention to visual look, because some pieces are really expensive just because they have different skin. So you can get berserker gloves for 2.5 gold or another one with different skin, but exactly the same stats, for 30 gold for example. But you can change your wardrobe almost for free anyway. Exotic gear is the best you can buy. Ascended is only for about 5% better but you need to craft it or be very lucky with a loot.
Also if you have enough Karma and Laurels you can buy some exotic armor for karma and some Ascended trinkets for laurels …

Berserker stats are Power, Precision and Ferocity with Power as the highest stat. That’s what you are looking for.

Use your charges to reskin it as you see fit.

As Gnar says, save your laurels to purchase ascenended Zerker trinkets from any laurel merchant.

Save your gold for exotic Zerk weapons on the TP

Sorry, this is bad advice. Because you cannot salvage the temple armor to get back those hella-expensive Runes of Strength when you don’t need/want them in that armor set. Temple armor is fine when you don’t need to slot expensive runes into it…. this is not the case for a PS Warrior.

Good point Wallaby, I hadn’t thought of that.

Depends on several factors I suppose, like whether the OP plans to eventually craft ascended armor (and will want those runes back), the price of Zerk armor on the TP vs. the price of the runes, etc.

So yes, OP, think hard about whether you will want to eventually salvage those expensive runes at some point.
