i returned from a few months break and i must say i feel that the warrior class has gone down pretty badly when a ranger can solo a warrior now

any class can just walk right over a warrior
and now that the new condi stuff coming out what will you guys do about the warrior?
are you going to force ppl to play condi warrior when some like me love the gs/hammer aspect

i feel i cant even play with that style anymore
so are you guys gonna actually buff the warrior for a change making the warrior actually be able to stand on its own again?

Were you the warrior in your warrior vs ranger example?
If so had the ranger player also just returned from a multiple months break?
I ask because if you are out of practice and your opponent is at the top of their game you should expect to lose. If an out of practice warrior player could readily defeat a top of their form player of another class it might be evidence of warrior being OP.

You had 2 months break, you’re not playing as well as you used to, isn’t that a more likely explanation? Don’t think we’ve had any significant changes in the last 2 months.

Uh… EVERY class is supposed to be able to 1v1 the other classes. Yes, there are match-ups where that’s really kitten hard to do, and it can be near impossible against your hard counter, but it should be more than possible for a good ranger to slap down a bad warrior. Or a good mesmer to slap down a bad thief. Etc, etc. Or even if they’re both good for the disadvantaged one to manage to come out on top sometimes. It happens.

That complaint alone just makes it sound like you’re annoyed you can’t mindlessly steamroll people just because of your class.

That said, sure, give warriors some new tools. The upcoming Tanut and Resistance effects fit warrior pretty well, so adding a few things like that to the warriors skillset sounds like a good idea to me.

(I’ll beat them no mater how many buffs they wanna hand out. Muahahaha)

I play a warrior with GS/Hammer and i destroy most people in 1v1, i can handle 1v2 and i can survive quite well in 1v3 but im not good enough to win those ! So just practice more and change your build maybe ? and you will see that warrior is still a strong class
