Hey guys, so I have recently come back to Guild Wars 2 and after much contemplation over what class to level up and start fresh on I think I have narrowed it down to Warrior but before I commit to leveling him I have a couple of question I was hoping you more experienced players can answer.
Firstly and mainly, I am not overly keen on all of the Warriors weapon sets. I enjoy the GS, Hammer and the LB the most, and tried out a few condition builds with double swords and was quite keen on that. So how far will these weapons take me? This is more of a PvE question as I’m not at all familiar with the PvE scene and would like to try out Fractals.
What uses or roles will I be filling in WvW? I played a Thief before and would some times just be designated to combo blasting fields with my SB. I’d like a bit more of a dynamic role. (Not so concerned with this as I don’t think I will be running WvW very much, and maybe just roam)
That’s really all I need to know to decide whether or not Warrior will be my new class, thank you in advance for any responses!
For PvE, you don’t want to be using swords mainhand other than for skipping past trash. Condition builds aren’t very effective in PvE by comparison to direct damage ones by the way.
