shout warr was our only alternative and its gone, lack of sustain… every single warrior now needs zerker & stances.. or maybe cavalier & stances..

signets dont seem to work for a proper build, traits that make sense are all over the place instead of in their particular line … warrior has no sustain left at this damage level.. sturdy body my kitten .. its all burst or get bursted and to increase your chance as a melee you pop invulnerabilites and try a steamroll.. so cheap.

i’m taking about wvw roaming here, dont know pvp or pve… but in wvw… warrior is really screwed up… either you play GS / stances / zerker warrior or you can basically go home against 80% of the builds out there without a chance to ever defeat them.

i’m really frustrated right now because stance warrior is like the most boring braindead thing of all the warrior builds and it looks like i’ll have to play this forever if i want to bring any kills home.

can maybe the warrior-balance-guy (if there is such a person) drop a few words on where they see warrior in smallscale and what they think about the current damage levels and warriors class mechanics… or maybe some pvp people tell me about their experience (looking for opinions of people who really have the class nailed down, played all builds etc.) so i would even go there and do that boring circle-capping if i can get a few good fights out of it.

I have a Rifle/Greatsword Signet Warrior and it works just fine for anything, really. Even has Phalanx Strength now for more group DPS.

when it comes to roaming, alot of warrior builds work, you just gotta know how to play it and practice.

Lemme start by saying I’m kinda buzzed first so I hope this come out kind of soberish

But I agree with this, warrior is so “basic” imo that it really does come down to skill which imo means at least if your if u don’t know the other professions inside out, be familiar with the different kinds of builds other people are running even if you don’t know what every skill does FYI this ele is in water so it’s going to heal up or something

And from an aesthetic pov I’ve always seen warriors as someone strong and dealing massive powerful blows, not running away slowing poking at people (condi) and running away, besides imo especially in a wvw pov we have sufficient condi cleanse in a power build
