I have no idea how this nugget slipped passed me, but I just realized the last patch changed Discipline’s Burst Damage was chanced to Burst Recharge.

Why!? Is anyone actually spamming burst skills at such a fast rate that 7 cd instead of 10 is better than 30% more damage on bursts? It can’t be a pvp balance issue, because warrior’s aren’t any good in pve either way. I don’t get this change.

I’m runing a “adrenaline bank” build for my gs until such time as two-handed axes are added to the game, so it doesn’t affect me either way. But I was surprised to see the change.

Combined with Ire, it’s 3 conditions cleansed every 7 seconds if you can land a hit. That’s pretty decent even compared to 30% more damage from on one move.

Yeah, I meant bad news because Cleansing Ire is in defense, not exactly the most popular traitline for everyone. But you can also take dogged march.

Food+melandru+ mobile strikes -or- dogged march with you on them the whole time is more than enough.

Necros don’t have any stability-outside from 3sec into shroud form or plague form- and the majority don’t slot stun breakers. A lot of them are bad at removing conditions, too.

Necros don’t have any stability-outside from 3sec into shroud form or plague form- and the majority don’t slot stun breakers. A lot of them are bad at removing conditions, too.

No so much bad at removing….limited access to removal. Necro removal is mostly in the form of the signet that pulls them to you and allows to send to foes, or the heal that consumes – 25s CD, or the staff #4 that transfers from you to foe when triggers which I believe is around 30s CD.

They don’t have much removal. The heal will remove once every 25s, the others are foe target transfers – one is a signet with a decently hefty CD iirc and the other requires enemy within melee proximity basically and also has a hefty CD.

Necros are very susceptible to interupts, and it is a good thing because physical utilities have been buffed a bit with the latest patch.

So you gotta attack under stability. With mace, hammer, sigil of paralyzation on both and 30 points in discipline with burst mastery you can almost perma cc them

Unless, obviously, they escape, or break the stun. Or if they can get away from you in very little time.
