Q:
warrior build with most survivability + DPS?
Dolyak Signet gives you passive toughness, and that helps a good bit. Use of a shield can help, too, due to the extra native armor. Mostly, though, making sure you armor is up to par for whatever zone you’re in is gonna do the most good, as well as learning when to dodge and make use of your healing skill, too.
Heavy armor doesn’t make you invulnerable on its own. You still play the greatest role in your character’s survival.
The dodge mechanic is still any classes best friend. Heavy armor mitigates more damage, but we’re talking mere seconds more of survivability. Conditions after the summer patch are a bear, and armor ignores them so…yeah learn to stick and move. Learn the greatsword backwards and forwards, because not only is it a DPS monster, it provides us the best mobility. Remember skill 3 is a dodge, if you burnt your two dodges already.
Crystal Desert
I would recommend following build if you are looking for survivability + DPS hybrid. (but if you are pvp player)
Either one of them should satisfy your need.
ShoutBow has very nice sustain level while inflicting some condition damage. It is actually one of most well-known warrior build and currently meta build registered in metabattle.com thus being used by many people.
Banner Shout, is newly developed Shout Build and has more survivality than ShoutBow but in Banner Zone only. (around 30% more survivality than ShoutBow from my experiments, against power specs/comps). It is fullly lock-down build with Hammer/mace-shield and Team Heal with Banner regen + Shout Heal with some mobility from Banner’s Sprint plus swiftness. very good at team fight.
Have tested a lot with famous premade team like Abjurd, Apex, Radioactive and personally verified that it is very useful build to run and introduce to other people as well. You can count on this build.
