I may be few weeks late with this, but since season 7 started(I haven’t done pvp since last one) it’s just so trash and awful to play warrior in pvp now and i’m so sad as a warrior main both in pvp and pve, sure I do play other classes and do fairly well on them but warrior was my favourite and now it’s just garbage

now I barely even play it except in open world pve where anything goes, and for other game modes:
wvw- guardian
fractals and dungeons – necro
pvp – i’ll go with thief most likely

It would be nice if balance team would actually talk to players beforehand instead of kittenting on nice things and refusing to revert anything after numerous complains from players

Yep don’t bother in PvP with warrior. Some Anet pleb got wrecked by a Warrior ( they prob main Condi thief ). So they pushed the balance changes through quality un=cunntrol. Wait till the next op elite expac realeases so you run to buy it . They just feeding your desire .

I think they nerfed warriors sustain cause someone was soloing fractals with auto regen build.

A pve nerf that affect pvp, like happened to ghost thief.
Not that both shouldn’t have been nerfed.

Ya, I have put my warrior the shelf and just play my Druid and Thief. Warriors I am facing this season are fairly easy kills 1v1 and go down fast if focused. Of course there are still good warriors out there, but there’s another class that is going to bring whatever you are bringing to the match better right now.

That pretty much,i can do pretty much fine overall with a low to none deathrate in pvp but i do feel that about everything is able to counter me pretty easily atm besides necs.1on1 its going alright so far besides mesmers ( condi ) seem to be a hard counter or im just doing bad vs em.

Honestly, somone needs to be fired for this poor balancing.

What do people think of how EP works in pvp now?

Tbh, I prefer it, to the point that I find it more useful. It makes it a more frequent stun break, it procs additional vigor from Last Stand, and I generally don’t need or want 4s of invuln.

That said, I do prefer 4s in Wvw, so I’m not keen on the change being pushed there, and I do recognize that DP got an obvious nerf with the change. Then again, a 30s CD on a 2s DP would represent a power creep, so if that ever happens, yay?
