what if, warriors sprint run 100% faster
Too OP and will enforce Discipline line upon warriors even more.
They just need to undo the merge with Mobile Strikes then make Warrior’s Sprint baseline.

As if Warrior is in a bad place, so bad that all game modes need it so bad.
Really hope other profession’s forum have these persistent people who’ll keep on asking for buff buff buff buff buff buff despite they’re already in top top top top status, so Anet may actually pretend to care.

With the upcoming changes to leaps it would be OP.

I think it’s a bit too much. Agree with Cygnus on this one.
Way too powerful and completely unnecessary. There’s no case for buffing warrior mobility.
I’m also with Cygnus in that Warrior Sprint is fine as proposed in the upcoming changes.

would meant that the warrior loses the constant 25% movement speed, and only gains 100% movement speed when running toward foes from 1500 distance onwards.
if the warrior attempts to run away, he loses the 100% movement speed.
this is overpowered?
Yes it is. I don’t think you realise how fast that is.
It will be impossible to kite a warrior and he will avoid every skill that isn’t instant by running through you.

well, being a warrior player myself, i am only used to 25% or 33% increased movement speed increase, i think thieves can have 50% movement speed while in stealth but i dun play thief often so i dunno how 50% feels like.

Target anything at 1500 range ( be it a player or a moa or a door), use your 100% movement speed to flee faster than anything, win?
Movement speed in gw2 is capped at 133% ooc as far as I know. You only gain the whole benefit of those 50-100% speed buffs during combat, since the base movement speed is reduced and the buff doesn’t hit speed limit then.
A 50% speed buff in combat feels like a “normal” speed buff at ooc basespeed, and it’s still capped at 133% when used for regular ooc movement (125% for in-fight).

Is there some meta that Warrior currently is not in that this would help them get into? No.
Would this help improve Warrior build diversity? No.
So what is the point?
Try your best to not make mistakes, but, when you do make mistakes, learn from them.
Better yourself.
dafaq 25% movement speed is so much and you even get a break on immobilize with a movement skill, so you’ll pretty much never have a problem with immobilizes. how is this not enough lol
Mesmer is unfun to play against and does everything better than thieves.

even if it isn’t overpowered the reality of it is that it’s very difficult to code this. What if there are many foes? Where do you set the range that defines a “foe present” in a certain direction.
It’s a difficult thing to create and put in practice.
