i mean most of the fight u most by range only soo why u call us warrior if we most by ranged i only know 2 or 3 dungons and 1 fractals fights where u can by melaa but most of the time we cant go melaa becous boss will focus there attacks on us and specal skills u dont have dodge for it or enof def

I’m not going to say learn to play, but I am going to say learn the profession better. I almost never range, only when I absolutely have to. There are skills, builds, consumables, and tactics to stay in melee. Try using a soldier defense set to allow you to stay in melee longer…to learn how to stay in melee longer with a berserker set. Learn/know the fights, save your dodge for the hits that actually need to be dodged and utilize terrain and kiting tactics to give you an advantage, those few seconds before heal is off cd. IMO warriors are ab killing before getting killed and heavily rely on dodging right, try the endurance regen food, use gs 3 as a dodge, endure pain, shield block…You’re not doing it wrong, you just haven’t mastered it, you will in time. Some bosses are badly designed in a way that force you to range them, though it’s not many of them that have this issue.
For instance most Warriors go full range on Imbued Shaman and Legendary Archdiviner but I melee them all the time.
Bosses like Mossman that hit you for half your health every second aren’t really meleeable instead, nor Captain with his insta-oneshot gimmick.

I used to go range when I was starting, but as I got better, I find mele easier. it’s just a matter of mastery.

Think of Leon the Professional. The easiest way to kill your mark i from range, and as you get better, the more difficult way it to be as close as possible.

Regardless of skill, as mentioned some bosses are just not designed for melee in mind. It is better to hit all of the time at range than to wait out for the opportunities to hit in melee if you ask me.

I agree with Oglaf about the hitting all the time than to wait out. This goes with knowing the fights and mastering the profession, in this type of encounter you would want range on weapon swap so when you do have to disengage melee you are immediately ranging while utilities/heal are on cool down. IMO and after many fights the rifle is sooo boring, and the longbow is good for the aoe, I spend as little time as possible ranging with my warrior. I feel it dumbs down the fight..

I keep a ranged weapon for various reasons, but the main idea is not every situation can be done with melee without high risk and i’m not afraid to admit I’m not always able to live up to the saying “float like a butterfly, sting like a bee”

i run arah with full melee sets and serker build i guess its your problem

99.9999999999999999999999% of fights can be melee’d while wearing pp/c without breaking a sweet.
