will you use Rifle now ?
No.
Only use rifle to snipe in zergs.
Hulk Roaming Montages/Build Vids
I always rage but never quit.
I already do, sometimes.
Rifle is very strong in 1v1 against all those glass kiters, but for tPVP the longbow aoe is just too good…
2 builds i can suggest:
- 30/25/0/0/15 with GS/R , no cleansing Ire so bring a lot of condi removal and go PVE on their kitten
- hammer/rifle , don’t really wanna share this one but ill just say that
“Rifle butt” (#5) + “Earthshaker” = $$$
dual rifle (dual because played with 2 rune of battle) is prety much the only way to effectively play sniper warrior and benefit from might the same way the greatsword does. You need 0 0 0 0 30 at least to even play it because of burst damage/cd reduction and might on swap
It can realy pack a punch when left alone but i wont use it else then in pve or in wvw pvp where targets are just sitting ducks XD
as of if i will use it? yes of course…. (ignore the 10 point trait choice its supose to be crack shot it just happen to be that calculators arent updated yet)
BM: I want to present you my lovely jingle bear mia

Yeah, I use it and Axe Mainhand to prevent players from slipping into keeps with the Cripple = Immob trait and Throw Bolas. This lets me take Crack Shot AND Opportunist so I don’t have to worry about using a utility slot for Fury uptime.
I always been using and experimenting with different weapon combos to make it work. So far the best results i had with mace/mace howered i prefer to pair it with gs for trait synergy and it doesnt work that good. Still waiting for a revamp (for both weps)
Yes, i use it. I’m trying a build that is useful to roam in wvw and that can be useful in zerg.
I’m still thinking about equipment bonuses, but i have at least 27k hp, and 3.5k armor.
10 in arms, 30 def, 10 tactic (leg specialist), 20 arms.
Good survive, nice damage, and pretty good immobilize (in zerg you hit 5 target with rifle).
Rifle is only fun for 1 shotting Zerks in WvW, other than that.. it’s basically useless.
The only time I’ve used Rifle for it to be effective was during the Liadri fight where the #5 knockback worked well on the instagib orbs.
No.
Moving Crack Shot to adept tier doesn’t alter alter my reasons for bringing other weapons instead. If I need a ranged weapon, then longbow is a superior option for several reasons:
- 4 AoE skills (attacks #2, #3, #4, F1 – all of these are very helpful for tagging too)
- Blindness (attack #4)
- Immobilize (attack #5)
- Fire field (F1 – yes, it was nerfed, but it still works fine for AoE might stacking)
- Blast finisher (attack #3, and the obvious combo with the fire field for group AoE might stacking, and in many other situations where allies setup fields)
- Faster adrenaline building (via #1 which fires 2 projectiles, and the AoE attacks)
The main advantages I can get from rifle are a bit longer range plus some conditions (bleeding and vulnerability) both of which are almost always capped out in group battles, so there isn’t much point. Thus, if I need a ranged weapon, it really boils down to whether I really want that extra bit longer range (from rifles) at the cost of losing access to all those benefits listed above for longbow. Going with longbow is the obvious choice for me.

F1 is also great for Tagging in WvW, and it’s great against walls/doors for hurting enemies.
Plus, when you have Cleansing Ire traited, it’s great for removing conditions. Most of the melee weapons when using Burst skills don’t use up your adrenaline bar if you aren’t hitting anything, whereas Longbow always uses it up. Can be useful and annoying at times, but hey.
