I’m gone from Guild Wars 2 for a bit and I come back and the whole PvP system changed…. I didn’t mind it at first but then I couldn’t figure out how to do a PvP Build or even find all of my unlocked PvP Gear from before. I can only use two swords that were in my PvP Locker, everything else is missing. What Happened? I only logged in for about 20 minutes and still can’t figure out anything with the new stupid PvP system for equipment and such. Someone please help.

as far as weapons, it’s what you have in your inventory. The pvp weapons got converted to skins (thats all they really were anyway).

It helps if you actually read the pop up message explaining what has changed, oh and also they sent you an in-game mail.

It’s not ArenaNets fault you mindlessly clicked OK and got lost with th eupdate.

As an elementalist, I’m quite happy with the update.

I think there needs to be a lot more to make this game into the esport the creators envisioned it would be…

But it’s a start.

Thats why there are vendors

cant say hate,
some much needed changes made it in, such as being able to change traits runes and sigils without having to bounce between vendors and apply runes to every piece of armour.

but the rewards do feel extremely unrewarding,
one of my favourite modes (8v8 hotjoin) was removed.
plus the reward cap on hotjoins forcing casuals and none metas in to pvp is a really bad idea.

overall some great changes, some ok changes, many bad changes.

There’s a weapon vendor who’ll sell you basic weapons for cheap - these define your weapon skills (which you already knew). They’re standing where the old rune and sigil vendors were.

The PvP build panel is no longer the same one as used for PvE/WvW - there should be a button at the top of your screen in Heart of the Mists from which you can set up traits, runeset, sigils and amulet.

You can change the appearance of your weapons/armour through the new wardrobe, which uses up transmutation charges (you’ll get a lot of these from PvP, don’t worry). Got to your hero panel, and you’ll find that the first tab contains 3 subsections: Equipment, Wardrobe, Dyes. Wardrobe contains all your unlocked skins (including every skin that was in your PvP locker or that’s account- or soul-bound to a character you log in with) and you can mix and match and preview as you like - you can also go out and check out the Dyes tab while previewing skins.
