I just came out of a couple matches going against someone who…thought they were the kitten. He kept saying I was “getting owned” by him because a engi killed me by shooting through a building somehow and he finished me off and then I was fighting the same engi and was at half health and this guy(who is a thief) finished me off.

So me being smart I stayed away from him since he thought he was so good. So I would go cap points and if I ran into him(someone else was usually with him) I would get away with my stealth(was playing a thief) and go cap another point.

He kept being a kitten and saying I was scared and blah blah blah. Just being rude over me being smart basically.

I ended up top player in the game and had over 100 points more then this guy. Please know that capping points is more important to your team then fighting someone. Don’t be like that guy and think you’re the best because you kill the same person twice either. Help your team out by capping.

Also if you see you’re going to a fight that’s going to be 2v1 and you can get away then do it. Cause odds are that unless you’re specc’d for fights like that you’re going to lose and just feed the other team points.

In all honesty I wish player kills only netted you and your team 1 point max. Giving more is what’s promoting this kind of garbage play because it gives a reward towards zerging. Point defense needs a big boost in glory reward also since, as of right now, you get very little reward for defending your teams points, which in sPvP, is also promoting the zerg style of play.

Also: stop being a kitten. I can understand being competitive and all, but just being plain rude has no excuse behind except for showing your stupidity and wanting to stroke your own kitten of which is probably nonexistent anyway.

I don’t think they should lower the points of a kill because even if you are getting killed a lot but your team has 2 points capped the whole time then you’ll usually win.

I understand players(like him) who think they’re the kitten cause they’re getting kills but that’s not really helping your team if you aren’t capping points. This isn’t TDM like he thinks it is. Play smart and try to help your team don’t go around looking for people to fight that usually ends in a lose.

Ya I only played 2 matches with him too and the last one I left to go eat. Ha so idk what’s up with him.

a kill at an enemy point gives you 5 points.
A skirmisher kill gives you 10…

A defender kill gives you 10, but you never survive defending in spvp anyhow.

In tpvp even the defenders get too little for what they do.

The point system needs tweaking for tpvp, but for spvp it needs a complete overhaul. It’s simply increasing the zerg nature of spvp.

Rickshaw is pulling your leg. aka, trolling. Max glory per match is something like 350, so the fact that he “beat” the OP by 400 should have been a clear sign.

There is not max glory as far as I know. I’ve gotten 400 and something before and there’s a lot of pics showing more.
