First off I would like to say that I love the equal ground that Spvp provides. The only cries I hear are OP and FoM (which are unavoidable if you have classes with diffrent abilities).
I really only have 2 related suggestions.
My system sucks, I can see that there are a bunch of people that are in the same boat when it comes to getting to the first capture point on the next map. By the time my system gets to the new map the first points are capped. I look around and 30% of the time there is some other poor slob with a slow system right next to me.
To my same point, I really do not like the fighting after the bell. Game ends and the fight goes on…I cant see how many points I got because some arsehat is trying to kill me when I want to look at the stats. Please do what you do in the Tournaments (except cut down the timer to like 20 sec) but let me opt out of the afterfight and let me go to the next round.
I have a 5 year old PC and I still seem to load in faster than most other people. You could try lowering some settings and see if that helps, you probably aren’t going to be looking at pretty graphics in PvP much anyway.
If it’s really an issue, the best quick fix is to buy a cheapo solid state drive, get one of the small capacity ones intended for booting and just install GW2 to it. You can get the cheaper small capacity SSDs for 30-50 bucks on average depending on brand and capacity variances and what with Christmas sales still going on you can probably find a good deal on most websites.
And the post-match fighting is completely meaningless, so why does it matter? If someone is attacking you while you’re looking at the scoreboard, just let them kill you.
I really like that extra time after the match is over, because you can finish 1v1 fights you started before the “bell”. And as ashleydoll said, that means nothing…if you don’t want to fight, just ignore it and look at your stats …
