The debuff is not visible until your are unable to play. This is partly to prevent negative attitudes towards people who may have accidentally disconnected, and partly because we can’t hide your buffs/conditions for other people.
We are also lowering the amount of dishonor it takes before being unable to play so that it hits more of our playerbase. We watch the numbers closely and we feel that the dishonor system is currently too lenient to have an impact. The AFK timer will also be shortened so that it’s more strict.

While I appreciate a shorter afk timer in sPvP, I hope this change doesn’t affect activities. If the timeout in activities gets changed, I’d like to see it increased, since it likes to kick in when
- you’re waiting at the finish line of Sanctum Sprint
- you’re waiting for the next round of the Mad King’s Clock Tower to start
- you’re just chilling in Southsun Survival while your competitors get chewed on by karkas
i.e. during legitimate gameplay.
I personally feel that the fixes to the matchmaking will help fix a lot of the leaving issues.
I have a test account where I play other classes and hang out around the 70-85% mark on the leaderboards and at certain times during the day it’s almost guaranteed that I’ll be put on a team that has other 70%ers versus people in the top 100-500. In my opinion it’s totally understandable when I see people ragequit after we open 50-200 against teams that are obviously going to win.

Hey Evan, please find a way to make it visible to players. I have connectivity problems sometimes.
