well, that khylo match was more entertaining to watch.

the dream wkittentered though, and i have no hope for the finals to have that kind of play. would be nice if i was surprised though.

Best part of this feed was blu’s coverage, as always.

Good rotations are rare to see.
People just stand on the point poking each other slowly.

The bunker might comp looks very forgiving. Team Lonely was out rotating Apex, but if Apex also had a thief that may not have happened. When that bunker might comp rotates correctly, it could be the best comp by far.

Apex vs. Kpex – these fights are gonna come down to time. Kills will be minimal.

I prayed for caed’s team to pull off that comeback on khylo.

The team comp that has a thief and if the other doesn’t, the one with the thief will win. If both have a thief, APeX wins.

Not sure if that’s it but there is currently a bug with warriors who take the trait ‘deep strikes’ gaining the passive effect of signet of might (180power)

a bug (which i won’t explain in detail) that lets warriors carry the power signet’s passive effect without having it equipped.

if you equip that trait you get the effect of “signet of might” even if you dont have signet of might equipped

and if you then unequip Deepstrike-trait the Signet of Might bonus of 180 Strength stays

That, or they don’t get their prize winnings if they don’t play all of their scheduled matches. I really wanted to watch them play against lonely. That was VERY lame of them and I will definitely not be rooting for any of them next time.

Agreed. It’s a shame that his enthusiasm is wasted on this boring final matchup.

While everyone is flaming GF, keep in mind this – what’s the point of playing another set when you get the same prize regardless of win/loss? People live in different time zones so why sit around for hours waiting for the 3rd/4th place game that ultimately doesn’t earn you anything? Ultimately, it probably came down to that fact and that people have lives outside this game. Waiting/playing for hours this weekend for matches gets old so why not end it earlier and enjoy whats left of the weekend.

I’m pretty sure it’s not as good in wvw due to 5target-limit and low damage preventing efficient tagging.

- No class stacking
- Limit number of “bunker amulettes” to two per team.

kindof the point, I am not there for damage but to stay alive, drop cc’s and keep healing. I had no idea there was a similar role in PvP.

Sorry, Anet, but you can’t artificially generate interest in this game’s sPvP.

Imo Master Splinter is wasting his heals playing solos, that he could be boosting his team more with. I’d be using more gust, earth 5 immob’s in 1v1s keeping people off points. Unstead ground, and static keeping them getting back in. Probably would be 2e (rock steady), 2w, 3arc to keep the health up a lot easier.

Hopefully some balance changes + bug fixes after this final.

I would like to talk about this tournament in the ele forum. There is so much snobbery against staff eles I am surprised to see a couple of them on top pvp teams. You can barely get anyone to talk about a staff build they are so disrespected.
