_ Why when I play my main Ele, I have to be 200% at my best to be just equally good to any other people my rank
_ Why when I just created a warrior a couple days ago, I “no brain-no skill” conditions to finish first of my group 75% of the time and easily those ele mentioned just above
_ Why allow people to leave BG as soon as we are 30pts beind to leave us in an even more unconfortable condition
_ Why when I check my death 100% of the time conditions are the cause of my death
_ Why am I bound to just protect those kitten points in that single play style (Btw why only in tPvP people seems to play by those rules?)

its life, back then warrior had to play 400%(if its 200% you need for ele) better to be equally good to any other people his rank for 6 MONTH+

and i did not cry like a little kitten about other jobs, but telling Anet to do something to warrior instead.

About the conditions death thing: that just shows what did the most damage from one source. So even if you actually died mostly from direct damage attacks, burning/bleeding can still be a bigger singular source of total damage, like this on the death log fighting a guard;

2.5k damage from sword 1 first attack
2.5k damage from sword 1 second attack
2.5k damage from sword 1 third attack
5k damage from whirling wrath
5k damage from symbol of wrath
6k damage from burning

The burning damage will go to #1 spot because all the burning damage from different sources gets grouped together, whereas the direct damage gets split into each individual attack it came from

so conditions are very often shown as high up in the death log

When trying to 1v1 playing an ele, use a macro to set up an OMG insta-kill combo to finish opponent. If it fails or does not leave the enemy dead, jump off a cliff or just wait for him to autoattack you and die.

When playing an ele and in a teamfight, try not to get anyone’s attention as you willfully cast AOEs here and there hoping to support some teammates or damage foes that occasionally will pass by your AOE. When you see more than one dude trying to focus on you (which happens a lot because you basiclly mean free kill to anybody), run for your life or Alt+F4 immediately.

Hope this helps alleviate your frustration number 1.

Very important to learn. It’s the same in teamfights: you could take damage from 4 different people all using a few individual skills one time…but all of their burn/bleed damage will be lumped together. In other words, you could get hit with 15 2k damage skills and take 6000 burn damage and 4000 bleed damage in a teamfight, assuming you sustain a bit. That’s 30k direct damage and 10k condition damage, and yet it will appear that burn/bleed is several times as effective as the other skills.

Elementalist is in a stupid spot right now. It’s so bad that I’m considering rolling another profession purely because we keep getting the short end of the straw each patch.

I agree that Eles are unbalanced, but so are most classes. The meta builds are all OP as kitten and the other builds available are barely viable because of it.

Come back 2-3 patches from now and it might be better.

As we all know not every patch contains PvP related fixes/tweaks. In fact most patches do not. Looking back it might be more accurate to say come back in 4-6 months, no?

You do realise that 3 pvp patches time could well be 9 motnhs or so ?? Who is gonna wait so much

War is not balanced, but take into account spvp warriors are teamfighting-oriented roamers. And roamers who fight in group fights get naturally more points than other roles (like bunkers).

You will never be able to know what an engineer is going to do next…
