Maguuma will become a Tier 4 server once HoD drops after the next match. That’s assuming you guys beat Ehmry Bay.

Maguuma stopped being tier 4 when nightcapping servers with huge transfer influx was making their way up. Now that most of them are in tier 3 or higher, Maguuma will be tier 4 again soon enough once all of the servers that lost population due to transfer gets knocked down to tier 6+.

Darkhaven’s not going anywhere. We’re comfortable being right in front of you.

It’ll be interesting to see how DH does against FA. Your zerg isn’t as big as FA and don’t have as much nighttime coverage but we’ll see I guess.

Landscapes and battles always change, I would put it out to FA as well not to get comfortable. You know we love a good challenge, and if the cards fall and we don’t fair well. Then we work on those areas. I think we’ve passed the rebuilding, growth and development stages of setting a consistent base… now we are to work on the gaps we aim to close. Especially those big ones from the treb siege’s

We could use about 20-30 more Euro/day U.S. time players at Mag to start ranking up again. Otherwise we’re pretty comfortable sitting upper mid. If we had 20-30 more per map, we’d be really high ranked, but then succumb to queues for every map, and that’s not fun. Mid ftw!

Haha no, I’m not meaning to brag or provoke. The guy I was quoting bragged about Maguuma having the lead, that just irked me. So I posted when Dh had the lead in potential points to counter his post. Maguuma still very well could win, it was more just to get at that specific guy because I hate bragging.

Showing that Maguuma has not given up /=/ bragging. I am a commander on Maguuma and am very happy that we are fighting this out rather than giving up. Sorry if your feelings were hurt, but there was less brag and more proud.

I could easily pull out a picture from when we beat your server and show a 400+ point lead, and then say “Darkhaven says hello”. But that’s not necessary, I don’t flaunt success.

always make time for the grub, that’s success. once you finish the grub, you win …then repeat. It’s important to build a golem under the enemies boiling pot every so often, it reminds you that this game has it’s funny moments.

What a great battle. I’m worn out. To me it’s a tie. Neck and neck the whole way down the line for an entire week. Your work in Stonemist on Sunday and Monday was brilliant. I didn’t practice my guitar once this week for any length in time I was so devoted to fighting you guys. You guys cost me a lot of money, a ton of gold in Seige Blueprints, upgrades and repairs. I know that I’m not going to put as many resources into a week long battle again. It’s too taxing to play this many hours a day in WVW for such a long extended time. Great job Maguuma. Agreed, this matchup has been awesome. I don’t even know who had the edge when you normalize for WvW population. I’d love to see a breakdown of avg. players in a borderland correlated to points-per-tick to find this out.

Great week, best ever. Last night in Mag BL I think we had 5 golems + the zerg knocking at there water gate, they came from behind and wiped us in under a minute.

If that wasn’t them teaching us a lesson I don;t know what is.

Good job to all three servers. Fights like this keep the game interesting.

Winning isn’t what’s fun in WvW. No one cares when you win at the end of the week. But during the week, you sure want to strive for it, and fight hard, and that’s the fun part. Trying to win is more fun than the actual victory at the end.

I’d have to agree with the above posters, this has been one of the best weeks of WvW since launch. 10/10 – would fight again.

Best matchup of all time so far. Kudos to all 3 servers. I could care less who won. I know we all had the best back and forth battles between 3 servers compared to any other matchups since launch.

40DH + 4 golems did actually show up last night lol. DH can be pretty predictable some times.

I sincerely can attest to the frustration and long hours yall made some of RE and some PUG’s put in these nights. So many blueprints, so many supply runs, its been very very tiring lol. I havent been in my Gorilla squad alot this whole matchup, theres no time for even that lol. Im pretty sure every arrow cart and ballista i put up in towers or keeps is atleast buying us time at the very least.

Lastnight around Midnightish PST, in Mag BL, the push Maguuma made on AH. i think RE had maybe 7-8 people in there lol, and maybe 1-2 PUG’s total about 9-10 max defending the 30-40 maguuma that eventually pushed through. RE wasnt upset though, we atleast got a chance to use the siege we put up in AH lol.

I’m just happy Mag has a bit of night time coverage now. It’s a totally new thing.

Wow … I’m absolutely beat. Dog tired, dead tired – broke as a joke, and drawing prints on napkins … but have enjoyed this crazy train all week long.

All 3 servers definitely deserve props. I know we’re all not used to this, or at least extending our play periods by extra hours ‘every’ night. So much different then the other matches where you secure the first few days push to gain ground throughout the week, and then the final couple days to secure enough of a gap teams either slow or the score is a major after thought.

I know its not about winning or losing, and yes … I would take this matchup in a heart beat again. Wanted to put out a thanks for the WvW populations on these 3 servers who contributed to what I can safely confirm has been my most enjoyable experience to date. We always get the frustrations, week in and week out about the common issues and improvement areas. To everyone on Darkhaven, Maguuma, and DragonBrand (yes all of you who kept me up until 4:45am PST last night in our borderland) … only to have yet another 3 hour sleep before heading into work (shakes fists smiling), everyone who reads this … I would like to thank. Personally I don’t see this occurring very often, and definitely can’t be putting in those hours always. This week however, felt special. So I’m okay with it.

I hope you guys feel the same, and we’ll look to each other’s growing rivalries, and building some friendships along the way (appreciate the brief break of fun early on last night).

My poor neglected alt’s and push for legendary … is another week out courtesy of the ride. Job well done, and please takeaway this note as a compliment to everyone’s successes and failures. Even failed attempts have contributed to the base of other success.

Special thanks to all of the commanders for there continued efforts and solid performance in EB. You guys I know are extremely tired. And special thanks to you, the community members who are participating and communicating in such a positive light here on Anet’s forums.

@ Little, threnn, and dia … I was shocked we had those PUG member’s helping out ~ those were the first two guys who solidly helped a defensive effort for a good half hour (I forget your names misters, but you helped in large building up AH even though we were sadly outmanned).

Not sure if any read this (win, november, canadian phoenix and others who helped), but thank you for the 3:15am-4:45am almost hour and a half long defense against the DB invasion of SH in our backyard.

Zzzzz … hugs for everyone, I’d buy you all a pint but you emptied my pockets this week.

Nah, I’m talking about when we were defending. I don’t know what the exact numbers were, but I think you guys had quite a bit more than us. People kept setting up siege on the cliff and I destroyed lots of it (IIRC, at least four arrow carts, two of which were superior, two catapults, and two trebuchets). Someone finally wised up and placed two trebs at the far edge where I couldn’t reach, then placed another one at the northwest gate, which finally destroyed mine.

Edit: Also, congrats to everyone for zero threads locked for this matchup. That’s the true victory.

They knocked 2 walls down and the battle was almost an hour and a half long. Is this our DH keep your team ran into from the screens? I want to watch.

I’ve had a great time this week. This is definitely how the game should be played and I wish every matchup could be as entertaining. There were very few down moments, although some maps could become quiet it just meant that other maps were a raging battle.

I was camped out in the Maguuma border for most of the match and I would just like to give a special shoutout to RE for the great fights there the entire week. My little group constantly probed your south east supply and roamed around that area hoping to cause trouble. When you guys were on in numbers it was near impossible to take the fully upgraded east keep and south east tower.
