No you wouldn’t. We’ve had holes you could walk in for 6 hours. You’ve been in our lord room for about 1 1/2 hours. Honestly this is another thing Kain needs to work on, because you’re losing 10 for every 1 we lose. We’re going to lose Garrison to people going to bed at this point.

Sorry, how was I supposed to know? I had a 5.5 hour queue. When I got here, all walls and gates were up, and we managed to push to courtyard and then DB inconveniently decided to show up when it finally seemed like Mag’s numbers were starting to thin. I was just making some friendly banter… why so serious?

It seems like the queue is glitched though. People that started queuing 15 minutes before I got in (though my 5.5 hour queue) had 30 min queues, and people that started queuing at the same time had 1 hour queues. Seems like we can’t get people in to defend or something is what people are saying in map chat.

Yeah I’ve seen that too, people have been queued for an hour and i just keep resetting my queue to bl’s and eventually get in. That seems to be the trick at the moment, though I don’t know why.

I’ll agree that I don’t think queues are actually true queues, and never have been. I learned a long time ago to swap queues between the least popular borderlands constantly (the two enemy home borderlands), and you’ll usually get in within 5 or 10 minutes. A true queue would never put somebody new to the queue first, but it seems like it always has.

Try my suggestion either now or next reset and see if it works for you.

Can the Kain forum warriors politely ask WM to try and not abuse culling every single fight? Maybe only in emergencies or something? My computer would love you forever

Mag was fortunate to avoid “quality guilds” joining it and jumping ship every time they lost to other “quality guilds”.
This lack of “quality guilds” allowed Mag’s players to remain in their own smaller groups and work together building a sustainable dedicated wvw community, one that has earned it’s ranking and managed to have fun at the same time.
Mag is a server, much more than just a mash up of “quality guilds”

What a night! I made it a point to hop around and avoid lag in SM as much as possible tonight and it payed off!

Amazing battles in DB BL from reset to +3 hours. Defending Darrison was a true joy!

Great fights in Kain BL from +3 to +4 1/2 hours – Maguuma is a lot of laughs and held that garrison bitterly!

Hopped into EB to see DB’s Zerg roll for a few minutes and back into DB BL to watch (RISE) sweep our garrison with 10+ golems!

Mag DB was on lockdown after that with Kaineng pushing the East and PRO and NNK holding down Bay and the west of the map!

Shout outs to all the DB regulars out in force tonight that I encountered! Krew, WE, ToA, EA, UhOh, PRO, NNK, and all the others! A true pleasure!

Good fighting so far tonight guys. Been fighting in DB BL for 8 hours now…

This was easily one of the more fun engagements of the night. Shoutout to DB for holding their garrison for SO long and enduring an barrage of attacks from both Kain and Mag.

CO and RISE finally got the garrison after both guilds literally flipped camps for 5 minutes and made about 14 golems in all.

I’m sure everyone on Kain and Maguuma are enjoying this week’s matchup, it’s only been 8 hours and has been one fun kitten day!

Geez, either we successfully got a bunch of people to transfer off of our server, or somebody has a lot of people. Outmanned on Dragonbrand BL and flipping between outmanned and not on Kaineng BL.

Always good to see a match still close, and all 4 borderlands still being fought over by all 3 factions.

From the perspective of Kaining BL, holy kitten this is just what we needed. For weeks now we have been playing without discipline, splitting up our zerg and taking whatever objectives we feel like. Trying to push on two fronts tonight we got absolutely hammered by the clinical movements of DB and Mag and were rightfully sent packing.

I was (sort of) happy to lose our garrison. After weeks of being on the receiving end of breakout events, it is going to be fun to attack for once!

This is a great matchup!

The laughing stock speaks… Even AoN has love for Maguuma… I’m pretty sure ShadowMoom (good Maguuma guild) has taken and still holds 2 of your 3 keeps and is farming your players at some random hole that hey allowed to be blown in a wall. If you dont like the match-up maybe you should transfer… again. The TL players that I saw in Mag BL didnt last too long,, they died pretty regularly to our pugs. WTH happened to you guys? (TL) you at least were able to put up a decent fight at one point.

I really like that Maguuma loves to defend and exhibits some interesting defensive tactics. Thanks for showing us the mystic forge arrow cart party!

This kind of opposition is what we’ve needed since T8. It’s unfortunate timing the end of free transfers was announced when it was, no doubt we’d have had better opposition as we worked up the tiers. EB, CD and Yaks among others would’ve been far stronger, IMO.

I look forward to a week of epic battles. You can call us bandwagoners or worse, but I suspect most of Kain feels very excited about this week as well. Supply camp whack a mole and uncontested jumping puzzles were boring!

Finally… an opposing guild with skill. It’s been a lot of fun fighting against War Machine in Eternal Battlegrounds.

You rolled us a few times and we rolled you a few times. Impressive what you guys can do with that many players. I need to do some more recruiting…

Hey, don’t forget about PYRO/NOVA/ME who helped take that garrison and DER|P who took west keep. DER|P/PYRO/SM also retook garrison almost immediately after it flipped for the first time in 8 hours.

Also don’t forget about EVOH/WäR/PYRO/DFND/iLL/OG who took Kain’s main keep in eternal 4 times, and flipped SM at least as many times.

I’m not really sure who pushed DB’s borderland, or who defended Mag bl tonight, but either way, someone suggesting that Maguuma has few quality guilds needs to learn what quality means.

(To all Maguuma guilds, sorry if I didn’t mention you, it’s late and I’m half asleep)

Well was a interestring and fun night, with some bumps along the way.

I been surprised how much focus MS put onto us, I mean any people with common sense would try and work together agienst a bigger number, The more they fight Us the less resistince GH going to meet from both FS and MS. But their Choice.

Was a rough 2 hours but we got our BL back, SM and a lil in GH BL, Unfortunely Xaoc arrived at 4.30 CET and screwed us up. Time for bed, See you on field later.

DB seemed to have more than you, though we caught you guys pvdooring a few times, so I don’t know. We got helped by the server crash in mag bl, yeah we lost a forward keep, but people were having less problems with the queue there. Good luck this week, its been fun so far.

Nah, they were not ganging up on us, they were just staying to their lanes. I have seen them fight each other when someone forgets to stay on their lane.

Nevermind the fact that all of the maps were split pretty well for quite a long time. But ignore that inconvenient “fact”!!!!

In a last ditch effort to stop Kaineng taking the lead, several Maguuma scumbags in KBL were stacking on the invuln point behind the south-west camp and repeatedly taking it.. of course, in the meantime, Kaineng recapped DB, and all of the southern towers, but its the principle.

Felt stupid that I let them kill me (I was trying to get a shot of their invulnerable message appearing as I grenade barraged them). Anyway, their guilds are hereby named and shamed.

Thank you for your noble efforts. These players and guilds will be severely punished by the Maguuma Alliance. I’m willing to bet these players also kill people in jumping puzzles, sneak into spawn where you yourself are invulnerable, and sometimes take mesmer portals or use stealth. Most dishonourable.

I am surprised that DB isn’t able to counteract Kain’s oceanic presence that much. I guess Kain is now taking over DB’s role.

And don’t forget killing “defenseless” dolyaks , laughing and dancing at inappropriate situations, hiding when no one is playing hide and seek, seeking comfort in large groups, building rams to hit walls. Why these people are the worst! They should be punished by being always pushed to the back of the queue.

Had fun tonight on Maguuma BL even though we could only get at most half of our guys into it at any given time, and most of those were drunkards (Friday is shots night, apparently). Hopefully the queues will be reasonable later in the week, since I look forward to more action.

I saw some [GOON] out there and a few other tags (I’m delirious, you know who you are) holding it down for Mag, along with a strong militia. You had quality defensive tactics and were good about intel gathering; it was refreshing to see that type of play once more. Also a shout out to the invisible people, since sheesh was the culling in certain places outrageous (did they break it even more recently?). I’m sure we culled in on you plenty as well. One of these days we’ll have people fighting people guys…. one of these days. That or it’ll break more and you won’t even see your own character model.

We didn’t run into the Dragonbrand guys much besides [AoN] who were pesky as usual. They sure seemed to like pushing towards us though in the early going, we must smell nice. Don’t you guys know you’re supposed to push north only on enemy BL? Sheesh, you’d think you were trying to make up some points on the server that has a ludicrous amount of Oceanic coverage. But that would be, like, sensible meta-strategy…. err, I mean… double team QQ!!!!

But yeah anyways, [RUN] had fun and hopes to see more fighting tomorrow. Maybe we’ll sober up a bit in the meanwhile and the idea to repeatedly suicide charge invisible people won’t seem quite as hilarious to us in vent. Or maybe not.
