I’m so tired of attacking Hills on CDBL. We were inside once and couldn’t crack the lord’s room, and we were trying to get through the outer for two hours after that. By the end of the night one of my guildies suggested that we just leave the kitten place alone for a little while so all the YB would get bored and leave.

I couldn’t pick out which particular guilds it was holding the keep, seemed like a conglomeration, but you were more persistent than I. And I’m pretty persistent. But that’s an interesting (and vulnerable) new treb placement on the bridge. It took me an hour and a half to find a spot outside of its’ range that could barely splash the wall.

Several posts back, when I was all positive about how it was alright that we lost Hills because we still did a good job defending Bay, etc. etc… I’d like to have some choice words with that version of myself.

Good fights in Ebay BL today, some large scale battles back and forth betweem Ebay and YB, was very fun.

I think pk is a great guild, from what I’ve seen they definitely contribute a lot to wvw for Ebay. They have some really good strategies and some fine skilled players. Ebay is a fun opponent!!

Were you the DD ele that I fought to a stalemate around the north east bay/water/quaggan island in yaks borderland (with a brief interuption when 2 CD showed up when we were NE of bay)? I was playing my necro.

If it was you, then good fight. I think I was closer to losing than you were, particularly when I seemed to have half of quaggan lake chasing me around. If not then as I see you are a fellow roamer then I hope to bump into you some day.

As to the matchup in general, if you can ignore the one bad apple souring things on the forums then this has been a really good matchup so far. Seen some good things from CD and Ebay, keep it up.

Nope, but I’m pretty sure I know of who you speak. I’m a ranger actually. Nobody thinks much of rangers, but that’s okay. I prefer to be underestimated. I don’t think much of Mes, thieves, and eles. Other than the fact they excel at running away, lol.

Only solo necro I’ve seen lately, was the one that was camping on the glitched invincibility spot under the cliff in the Ebay Borderlands SW supply camp. He got me down once, but when I revived I had him running until he went back to the glitched spot some more. I eventually got bored and just let him slip away. Whoever he was, he was pretty good. Just not a particularly climactic end to the battle. =/

I’ve found this to be a very fun match so far! Have had some really great group battles as well as some fun roaming. Met a thief in EBG yesterday from food guild that neither one of us could kill the other even tho I know I made several mistakes, it was a long long battle. It got ended when some other guy from that server showed up, the group of yaks that were standing up on the hill watching us stepped in to down that guy and then went back up on the hill, but thief left. I think it would have been a continuing stale mate anyway xD

It was painful watching 12+ CD golems get obliterated by YB but I called that one on our guild mumble before they even started… can’t send in golems if you don’t control the area between the inner/outer walls.

Outside opinion, having fought all: PK was not good in the open field. GH and FTF were much better open field fighters. Anyone can man ballistas, arrow carts, and trebs. Not everyone can put up a good fight in the open field.

No Queue in CD NA primetime, same as all other times. 24/7 no queues in CD just a server filled with heart.

Fights are less zergy, more on strategy, and small groups. But I’ve met and killed EB/YB zergs, and have been killed by them since our server fights; so it is not essentially free of zerging.

Opportune moments are never wasted. At least no you learned that you could have taken it if it was more of you who attacked the Lord’s room.

I had an heart attack on reset night when we cleared one of the towers at CDBL, when we spotted flaming ram being built at Lord’s room (I will do screenshot next time. I promise :p). I was like “We are fighting Mag now? Oh noes”, & I checked scoreboard twice to make sure.

The invulnerability zone is a little behind the arrow cart position, and even so the arrow cart is not invulnerable, so what’s the matter?.

The invulnerability zone is a little behind the arrow cart position, and even so the arrow cart is not invulnerable, so what’s the matter?.

Wrong, they are built above and on it. So what’s the matter? It’s an exploit, you aren’t allowed to build siege in a no siege deployment zone. I also took the liberty to report the other guilds using them, such as CL. And im not saying YB as a whole are exploiters so don’t even go there.

I dont think we have the numbers to beat you Yakkingtons or you CD players. We at Ebay have this weird population stuck between T4 and T5 with our recent transfers. I don’t think we’ll stay forever in T4, but you guys are only beating us by 23k so far.

I wouldn’t call that getting “crushed” or “terrible” and there has been good fights so far this week. Have you gone up against our PK/FTF/GH groups? Have you seen our roaming community? I think that is where we definitely do well. I know I have been having fun roaming and trying to score kills against your much bigger groups.

I’ll be looking out for [Vile Faith] Norns for sure.

I was just being rude at whoever is being rude. I don’t really get caught up in the WvW rivalry and competition seeing as there are about a million variables that will never allow WvW to really be competitive. I’d say leave the skill vs skill competition for spvp where it belongs.

And in answer to your question have I ever seen PK? Yeah we just took a tower from them right before I alt tabbed to see if that rageaholic bit at my post. lol

I can’t see name tags but whoever this guy is with the pretty CoF helm all black and gold just caught a killshot to the mouth hole! =P

And if you need help finding me on the battlefield don’t worry about the guild tag just look for that big kitten norn with The Juggernaut. I’m sooo close to finishing it I would say best case, by the end of this week. Worst case, within two weeks. =D

I play WvW and I have fun. I hope you do to. There’s a reason we can’t see each others names in WvW and we can in sPvP.

I already did fight club with you guys the last time our servers fought. It was fun. But I WvW to WvW… If I wanted to fight club I’d be in sPvP.

I don’t know who you are and can’t remember who the guys were I was fighting with but they invited me to group we had a nice little chat.

You are very angry and competitive it sounds like. sPvP sounds like your match made in heaven. Why do you get caught up in WvW so much?
