i dunno. some SF seem awfully frustrated with the stale match up.

but as for the CURRENT MATCHUP today.... this morning was fun up till they shut down the game... everywhere we went, KING followed. was fun fighting off fergs and SF at the same time to take stuff. nice challenge. stretching ourselves and making us work harder for it, and thereby growing stronger. thanks

after my conversation with the KING necro yesterday, i take it as a compliment that KING was hassling us so frequently

Nice 40+ man zerg on our BL FC was a good fight we got batphoned ^.^ enjoyable

The real worst case scenario is that ET and FC combine, then the SF players get kittened off enough to leave T8 (to HoD or somewhere) and there is only one server left in T8 with no one to fight.

Or all the ET and FC players decide to join HoD, with pretty much the same effect.

Ok now I admit…we NOW have a TON of people in WvW (expected with patch and all)…

It’s tempting. It’s really tempting to leave SF in the mess they made. And with the drama last night and commander talking about leaving.

Or maybe if all the ET and FC join HoD, then SF might swap places with someone in T7 and we’d still be fighting SF in T7 instead of T8.

I wouldn’t pin all your blame on transfers just yet — the patch renewed or created interest in WvW for a lot of carebears. I’d be willing to believe it’s a bigger effect than a weekly reset; everyone wants to see what this ‘massive WvW patch’ is all about, including a ton of people who were bitten hard by culling in the past.

If we’re going to be ridiculous about server transfer scenarios:

ET and FC transfer to HoD
SF split transfers to ET and FC therefore still having 3 decent sized servers to fight each other

I meant all the dog piling that happened to SF after their first week, which ruined T8. There would be nothing wrong with T8 if SF had remained the same size it was in that first week.

I doubt that queues on ET will last. Probably a bunch of of PVE players who want titles they can displaying while standing around the the TP with their CoF armour and Legendaries.

Gilkin, not sure if you are making the right correlation.

I doubt there were as many transfers as there were new interested players in WvW. They’ve introduced a new progression system; a few guilds have told me their players refused to do WvW until this patch.

I’d give it a week before things go back to normal.

As long it’s not 4/4 super long queues, i don’t really care… People will soon disapear again after they realize that there isn’t much new on WvW…

I dont like the “free transfer’s” idea. its gona ruin the great community we just go going on FC. all the main commanders are well known and know each other well too. Id rather keep the reputation/Great community we gained than roflstop up to T4.

Been back on FC for long? the picture show’s even 1/2 what sf can put out on 3 BL’s (not being mean/troling, just pointing it out if you havent been here long)

If this “free transfer” thing dosnt stuff the number’s i recon SF is T5 material, due to numbers. that being said though. SF needs a bigger nite crew for T6 or better cause ATM both ET and FC have biger nite crew’s.

Gilkin, I seriously hope you’re not complaining that on a day where free transfers are enabled, and new WvW content is released, that we’re able to have a single queue in one borderland. This is causing you to fear that we’re going to rise the wvw ranks like crazy? First why would that be bad, and second we’re actually last place in points per tic and total points this week right now. I think you’re going a little crazy there man.

Either way, really fun fights tonight guys. With the culling gone, and actually being able to truly see the numbers, man, things are even more brutal than most of us expected, honestly I feel like SF fights even stronger now that they can judge numbers better and know they can steamroll over many of our groups, rather than playing defensively due to culling. Looks like we’re going to have to change up our tactics a bit more! Looking forward to more crazy good fights that we can actually see now with the culling change.

Score Update for those who would rather read then fight

thank you for the score update. i havn’t seen one all day and it’s driving me nuts. i’d rather fight that read, but due to the aforementioned problem... well...

BUT... that doesn’t tell me what the actual score is... just the rate at which SF and ET are earning points. ouch, poor FC

I pulled out of WvW to do some Guild bounties a few hours ago. Ferg was rolling maybe the biggest zerg-ball I’d seen in… I don’t know. Maybe ever? At least for a long time.

But it was still half the size of what SF hit back with. Crazy. It’s both exhilarating seeing all the green dots, and depressing noting that our match-up isn’t better, it’s just the same thing with more people. Bleh.

i remember that zerg. shara, korrina, azmika, and myself had that going for bay. everyone from the entire kitten server was there. im not joking. thats how like 40 of your guys were able to hijack garrison so fast. tryed pulling this group back to guard garrison but no1 followed. (sorry WZ commanders we really tryed)
