Few hours away from reset! It seems we had quite a rocky week with Blackgate peaking early on and fading after. I generated the average tick size / score development; most notable probably being SoR turning a 32k (+/-) point deficit into a 6k point lead on BG. JQ ended up with a 48k lead after being 7.5k points behind BG late Monday. Since Monday evening JQ earned an average 392 points per tick, compared to BG’s 224. Good luck to all next week!

I uhhh, kind of went in to troll mode on one of your BG brethren from oPP. I got guildies that actually have field respect for them. So just ignore the trash that I’m currently spewing. I kind of took it personal when I read “JQ always runs.”

My guild members are just getting frustrated of seeing people run away from fights. It’s world vs world, why would people not want to engage in a fight? Specially when the numbers are equal or slightly in their favor?

We have to look hard and long to find good fights in tier 1 and most of those fights that we find are where we are heavily outnumbered. Our group runs around for more than 10 hours a day in WvW and it’s actually tough to find good fights at the moment.

Specially [Emp] is notorious for running home to get a gun after losing a knife on knife fight.

SoR doesn’t discriminate in who it takes points from.

I believe you but I don’t think any particular server has to actively discriminate against any other server for the “2v1” meta to develop although I think active discrimination from just one server could be sufficient to bring it about.

I can give you an example of what I’m talking about if you want.

Had a great six minute fight at water camp last night vs BG.

KnT + others came in towards the end with a pretty good push and forced us to keep on our toes, but it was not enough to overcome the 5 guardian group!

(Indo and the rest of the zerg may have helped… a little.)

First time I think I’ve been in the middle of one of these video’s. It was a good fight.

You have to understand Boulderbolg and his guild to understand why he might say that. His guild prefers small scale open field encounters, like 5v5 or 10v10, which has been very difficult for them to find in T1, while they found it quite often back when we were in T2. So it’s absolutely not about wanting to be the big bully in town, but rather finding fights more in line with their preferred playstyle.

I think we all miss the smaller scale battles. I am sure my video card does. But I don’t think you are going to see much of that in T2 either. I had hoped that it would die down a bit after a week but people are still obsessed with ranks.

The skirmishing in T2 when we were there last was spot on for our play style… always active, and TC/FA never give up. We enjoyed it a lot as a small guild. The reason we stay on BG is because of people like Liquid. I’ve never played with him or even spoken to him, but he still has my back on a public forum when I say something stupid.

Unfortunately my guild is not around anymore to give you guys tough fights

You guys should transfer to a lower tier though. I honestly think you would enjoy it. There are still zergs, but there are fewer and they are smaller.

Also, congrats SoR on taking 2nd place again. While I read that you guys got some new transfers, I also know that some of you guys didn’t sleep much to ensure it happened.

Indeed we did. Getting better fights here for our group size. Perhaps we’ll get to group v group another time. I edited my ele build and it should be far more effective against mesmers now.
