Hmmmph. As always, if you’re in Ferg BL, you = target, in my book. I’m not going to slack off, if SF’s hitting ET, or vice-versa. Hell, if you’re in Wv3, period … you’re a target.

I have tirelessly tried to tell you guys that you were more than capable of fielding enough to stay in this fight for real…Granted it came off at times as simply disputing the numbers argument. I believe, truly that ET does have the numbers to give SF a run for their money, and that would be good for all (well except for the fact that if it worked we would be stuck in T8 that much longer lol).

Regarding the situation in your BL, yes we did back off the west side and let the fergs have it while we worked the east. Initially we split into two separate forces to try and force them out and keep Bluebriar (SW tower) but eventually they had some darn good fighters and we decided it best to “see” if we went back east and let them have the west would they stick to it, rather than push east and then north behind us.

Luckily, they seemingly had the same idea and from what I remember, and reading what you wrote that is what ended up happening.

Regarding the alliance (the thing that got re-labeled as a non-aggression pact after there was an uproar in these very forums over the name “alliance”), it was ET that started that thing in motion, or rather people from ET that chose to post it here…There were only a few in SF that took it moderately serious, usually they got corrected fairly soon in Map Chat, and then the whole notion morphed into a running gag for us to joke with in Map/Team chat.

Now from what I was told by some friends that were and still on ET, there were several of the larger guilds that “agreed” to the proposal in theory….One of those same larger guilds were also the ones that chose at random to start raiding the Ferg BL one night, and shortly thereafter (coincidentally or not) the truce/NAP/alliance faltered altogether, if it truly existed ever at all.

We have no such agreement, nor would we ever I would think…no doubt if FC tries to take something that is ours we will do our level best to stop them, and there will always be random people (the majority more than likely) that will still raid FC BLs. Was only relaying that if it seems like you have more of a presence in your ET BL it’s because you likely do, right now the organized groups are generally focused in (in order of importance) SF>EB>ET>FC, SF and EB stay green for the most part, hence the interest in ET’s BL. All in all, it should make for some great fights, as most servers defend their BLs the best.

Wouldn’t expect any less, like I said you will likely have plenty of SF to deal with, just a group of core people that want to either spread the point gap/differential more (hence hitting the server in 2nd harder), or simply want FC in 2nd place.

I personally would like to see us hit the 450k-500k range this week, but that will not likely happen.

I often wonder how many points are even possible, assuming someone held every point in WvW for the entire week.

If what you said was true, then your shooting yourself in the foot by not taking FC land as much as you can. Every point you pass up on FC is one more point behind you remain, and thus keeping yourself here longer.

In short, If you wanted to help FC then you should Transfer over there and help them, you’re not helping anyone by betraying your own server by refusing to attack them and thus stunting your own progress.

You should read what I wrote, not betraying anything when I clearly stated that there are some that target maps by priority, and also stated that if everything except FC was green then we would likely be in FC….And then even stated to the FC person above that I am sure there will be plenty of SF in FCs BL even with us avoiding/saving it for the last resort.

While I do get tired of the same matchup (mostly on reset night), as soon as we get in the thick of things later that night I enjoy flagging everyone of you I can…So in the long run the matchup thing to me will take care of itself, either we will move up, someone will move down, or ANET will do something different…I just want to see us put up a ton of points, which means hold as much as we can for as long as we can, rather than spread out and hold everything for a short burst then lose it all 1hr later. I am done worrying with the differential, and what the T7s are doing, I am perfectly content to rush way too deep into the middle of the ET zerg (normally yelling “push them”) hacking away week after week, and capping everything that is Blue after it is left vacant. I enjoy doing the same against SF zergs, so lets keep it up! If you play during NA Evening primetime, I hope we’re getting chances to crack each others skulls, honestly for a long time everytime we’d wipe the SF zerg on ET BL they would immediately migrate to FC Borderlands, and this doesn’t seem to happen anymore. Since I just got my harddrive to record I’ve been getting LOTS of awesome fights and recording from it. I’m serious when I say this, keep up the hard pushes on ET, its honestly been a lot of fun and a real big challenge, and we’ve been seeing a lot more largescale combat on the field between towers/camps too which is always a ton of fun!

I’d argue about your thought that ET has numbers you should be worried about though. We do have more of a late night/early morning presence, but especially during my hours at NA prime it’s probably smaller than you think, and I can’t remember the last time there was a queue anywhere. You can judge some of your numbers vs ours on this latest vid I got of a garrison defense, there’s another really good defense on my channel too I posted earlier!

Either way FC and ET scores aren’t going to change much at all, regardless of who’s 2nd/3rd place, if you choose to focus ET more for whatever reason, I’m glad to meet you on the field. Honestly I prefer fighting in borders vs fighting in Eternal when SM is all sieged up and surrounding towers are constantly getting sieged by trebs xD. I know a lot of people are tired of the stale matchup, but honestly this extra pressure against ET lately has woken me up and really gotten me into the fight more than ever. I still hope you guys manage to get enough points to get into T7 though, you’ve really been putting in a lot of extra effort it feels like these past couple weeks, keep it up!

Honesty the FC and ET alliance would never work, there will always be people who ignore it and there comes the “you backstabber” oh and we on FC believe it was ET who broke the pact. Not saying it to start an argument, I’m saying it cause people will always believe there side is the honor able one in any war. Who knows maybe FC did attack first, point being no one will agree. No, FC did attack first(this is coming from someone from FC) one of our commanders decided not to listen to all the other commanders advice (shocker) and took his guild to Zerg through ET BL
