For the record, not a complaint against ET zerging. Doesn’t bother me a whit. But the person above who seems to be in a state of denial, well, maybe visit EB or FC primetime. Enlightening, I’m sure.

Amazing defense GoM in ET BL, holding Greenlake for so long was insane, you really sieged that place up good. Seeing more and more glam mesmer too, all the confusion stacking really hurts. We’re going to have to start traiting a lot more condition removal! I tried switching my build mid-way to help, but really I think I would just need a pure of voice shout build.

Took us forever to drive you guys out, I think you farmed more than a fair share of badges off us from your efforts though xD. Thanks everyone who stuck with me and kept up the pressure, when we did manage to take the tower we went straight to EB to take SM too! Hopefully we still have it by morning xD.

@geekanerd, I think everyone who’s been here for awhile agrees this has been the most balanced matchup in a long time, every team has zerg balls at some times of the day, ours, FC, GoM. Everyone’s numbers looks like they’ve seen a boost, which is great to see! I’m sure people who are complaining about numbers will change their tone when they win against a larger force and get to feel that crazy sense of accomplishment it gives xD.

For people who don’t like it, keep in mind, open/non-matchmaking pvp game is never about even numbers. Thanks to uneven fights, that’s what makes victories against larger forces such a rush and makes us come back for more, those moments are hard to come by in other games. If people really hate being outnumbered and want a completely even fight, sPvP is the place to go (which is honestly a lot of fun too xD).

Up waaaay too late, but great fun! Little bit of this, little bit of that. I went and acted like a pug a lot tonight since I was not on the same TS as the main zerg, and it was fun to just hang out on the outskirts and chase and play. :-) Got to be a dolyak with a buddy and get killed by GoMs after the first moment of hesitation. I haven’t laughed so hard in a long while, though I was sad none of them tonic’d out too. Oh, and I got to tornado out lots!

I’m trying to save up for better gear, too. $$$. O_o Don’t run away from meeee I just want your badgeeees…

A quick thanks to guilds WZ, RISE, PoPo, BS, and many more for a night with hours of dueling. I had a lot of fun and got a good chance to test my build and determine my weak areas as well as strong. Hope to see you on the battlefield more often!

Edit: By the next dueling time, maybe I’ll be able to dodge those D/D Elementalists and mesmers!

On the same note here is a picture of a few minutes ago inside of GoM Bay. Please ignore the extra FC on the side of the picture that were rolling around with ET; I’m sure they were just lost, and ET was giving them a ride back.

We had about 25 [Agg] on tonight. This picture doesn’t really say much when it’s a mashed group of two enemy server’s players.

If you’re going to call a server out for zerging, don’t post pictures and videos of a guild that fields 20-25 players in a server vs server vs server PvP match-up. Just because you get beaten doesn’t necessarily mean your enemies numbers were greater than yours. Of course that will happen in certain cases, but most of the time we are outnumbered since we tend to roam as just a guild-mates and we play in NA prime time which is when all 3 servers have large groups of players roaming around. We try not to roam with non-guildies if we can help it.

But anyway, nice fighting in GoM bl tonight, guys!

Is to be expected though when a top tier guild decides to go all the way to the bottom. Id compare you to the yankees playing in the minor leagues but their season so far…ouch, would probably help if they did go down to the minors.

This is the kind of thing that makes me spend most of my time in WvW, roaming -_-. No need at all for that many people to be in one group, not one, especially when you consider only 15-20 of us were defending against you, with paper gates. Then again we still have the lead, so it’s not all bad. Your better than this FC, you really are.

But seriously Zerging in the “Pain train” set-up is the meta ATM. So if you want to be competitive vs Guilds like Agg this is what we have adopted. If you don’t like it, stay out of our way.

GoM normally fields more than 25 every time we face you in NA prime. If our 25 fielded players who sometimes don’t even run as a guild for 3 hours a day is the only thing making ET win, then you’re saying that only 25 players who average 3 hours a day are the reason you’re losing. Also, is your last screenshot supposed to be only [Agg]? lawl

Your server isn’t doing bad, so there’s no need to jump at people on the forums. I can post screenshots of the huge GoM zergs that number higher than us that we fight, but I don’t. Because we prove ourselves on the battlefield, not the forums. Your pictures and videos don’t prove anything except that we work together as an organized guild.

Truth is FC is still the most outnumbered server! What you are seening is the new stratergy’s we have picked up from VK’s visit. Yes we have gained some more WvWer’s but the biggest change in FC is the new TS Strat setup’s.

Muni, it’s one thing to say “whoah, Agg has a lot of people” (‘cause it apparently hurts their feelings =) but I don’t think it’s all a fair thing to say that Eredon Terrace is winning because of Agg. I mean, Eredon Terrace has loads of people of come out and contribute and the sum of that is the score.

I always tell people that what I love about WvW is there’s a ton of different ways to play it. Whether you’re solo roamer, ninja capper, 5 man squad, or zergy train, we each contribute to the mosaic that is WvW fun in our own way.

So this beer is to you, heroes of Eredon Terrace and Ferguson’s Crossing and Gates of Madness. Thanks for comin out, you’re my video game of choice.

I just wanna say that fight in GoM garrison tonight was EPIC. I had a blast fighting Agg and then FC that decided to come to the party.

On a side note, I want to give shout outs to SS and Yarr from FC for being awesome small mans that are always fun to fight and our old friends from BS(Basic). I want to kill that pink haired guardian at least once =P

Despite seemingly having the lowest WvW population of the 3 servers GoM are night capping, taking over the map while there aren’t many ET or FC online to defend, we need to come up with a counter strategy to this if possible, as all our peak time effort is being overshadowed by a small GoM force late at night.

Please note this is not a kitten complaint about this tactic, just a shout out to our people that we need to counter it. I don’t mean this as an insult to GoM.

Hello Sororita. Welcome to T8. Yah, have not posted all last week, long story about that, lest say, it was something that had been simmering for a few months. LOL

Anyway. If it makes you feel better.

My Name is Ungood, also known as Unwood, I play on the Eredon Terrace Server and I Zerg.

In fact I very well may be addicted to the idea of Zerging. Every time I enter WvW I get excited by the prospect of running in a large group of my server mates, as we move around, capping points, defending points, getting into fights and all manner debauchery during the day and night.

I love the idea that of having enough people together so we can carry enough supply in one run to drop siege at a Keep Gate and still have enough people with supply left to drop more siege at the Inner Gate (I didn’t always used to be like that, this is a new thing for us and I am loving it)

Well there you have it, at least one person on ET admits to zerging and enjoying it.

I never understood all the zerg hate. It’s a legitimate strategy just like any other, especially if attacking keeps.

Personally I enjoy a good zerg every once in a while, but for the most part I LOVE it when the other servers are all in one big zerg ball. It’s the perfect opportunity to put together a small ~5 man group and either go on the opposite side of the map, or jump into a different map altogether and wreak havoc on their camps, sentries, and depending on upgrades, towers. Small strike groups are when I have the most fun in WvW.

I say let them run around capping one thing at a time. In the time it took your zerg to cap a tower or two, our two separate 5 man groups capped all the camps in your borderlands, and we’re just about to start siege on your towers

I prefer small havoc squads, myself. Of course, I mainly WvW on Mesmer or Thief alts.
Both of those tend to work well in a 3-5 man. Although, I’m the weird guy what runs
evasive gunslinger Thief, and condition Mesmer, in a game mode chock full of FotM
builds … so, what do I know?

Yah. I know right. Norn guards are a dime a dozen and 10 for a penny, on top of that mine is in Full Karma Armor, so.. yah. I stand out… not at all

But, I normally run my ranger in WvW, Bow and Pet, blend well with a zerg ball, it allows me to shoot and not get a beat down too quickly as you all need to get though the norn guards first
