Our guild is PAXA (ex-daoc 8manners). We run a 5 man almost every night focused primarily on killing players. We are looking for someone to fill our 5th spot as a full support/heal guardian (basically using staff and hammer). We have our full group established already; this is purely to fill a void in the group. This is also more of a hardcore focused group than what GW2 often presents. Currently PAXA sits in Henge of Denravi. We understand Xfering isn’t super easy at the drop of a hat and are willing to help someone vested in the opportunity.
There will be a trial program at first running with our group to see if there is chemistry with our team. Please send me a PM or respond to this post if you are interested in a killing focused group. We run NA week nights from 7 cst to about 11 or 12 cst. Weekends we usually have a few on to muster a team but isn’t focused as much as the weeknights.

I can think of a certain pink Norn guardian who is excellent with staff play. You can find a video of him pwning noobs in the previous thread. I believe he is in the leet guild PvP. Good luck.

by randoms i meant simply people not in teamspeak everybody did great in the fight,

although master of the hammer appears to be using the build i posted on gw2builds.com and following my youtube guide just saying, also not using knockbacks to rez fallen and stop enemies from being rezed

Thats funny ive been running hammer build for the longest time i never knew you had a “hammer build” to your name. I was using knockbacks and i was keeping the enemy ccd. Maybe if you did a bit more with your hammer and follow your own advice. I did more than enough that fight.But no, this is my own build that i had to tweek for wvw.

To anyone on HoD or NSP, I’m down for a duel. Any class or build, idc. Whisper me in game or just throw me a wave when you see me roaming, let’s keep it fun I don’t feel a need to trash talk or be disrespectful.

Also to the small guilds complaining about how SF has no roamers, stop 3v1ing people or quit whining. It’s silly to complain about not finding skilled roamers when you always attack soloers with numbers.

Credit to PAXA on this, after a quick whisper with a few of their guildies we have a mutual respect. Hate them all you want, they are very fun to battle against.

Hope to see some soloers out there! Os plz stop sending ele/thief combos to chase me across the map.

People who run 5 man groups in WvW are failed Spvp’ers merely looking to pat that bruised ego. Why else roam about killing under lvled/geared/non experienced with Spvp or pvp players? Get off your high horse, you’re just as bad as everyone you whine about. Stop trying to belittle others into your way of playing. You may get off on feeling some sort of accomplishment killing noobs in WvW, but we all know you lacked the skill for Spvp.

sPvP is not about 5v5 fights it is about 1v2 2v2 1v1 fights and standing in a circle. Some people find it less dynamic than open world fighting. Also the builds that work in sPvP are limited compared to options in wvw with the broader gear setups and food bonuses. To each their own.

If these 5 man groups you speak of lack the skill to sPvP where do you stand with 40 man groups doing the same thing. Can I assume you are 8x as terrible as the small groups?

Back on topic though, fun fight last night PAXA, even if it was relative brief. In SFBL, NSP had their breakout tower, as my guild group and a couple pugs killed off the remaining NSP (guild tag) people, a bunch of HoD PAXA tags ran up confusing us for a brief second. After wiping that group didn’t see you guys again, was dissapointed.

Wanted to see these elite group synergy that has been talked up so much recently.

It wouldn’t work. The moment some other 5 man team rolled them over they would start to cry about something “wrong” with the set up there.

Even then it wouldn’t matter once you start thinking you are superior to others in any manner that mentality does not go away. After getting beat in those situations they will still come on the forums and shed delicious tears. =)

You are dead on with the reason we don’t like spvp deathmatch would be fun but again the gear limitations in spvp also detract from it for some of us. You can be much more creative with builds in wvw than in spvp.

I almost wrote that too! WvW to me is better because people actually have to gear/build their toons, whereas sPVP is cookie cutter nonsense (opinion). I, like you, do not like gear (mainly trinket) limitations either.

Ok, I get it now. I think we can all safely just ignore anything this one says as he is expecting everybody to play by his rules to get his “respect”. Really?? He has proven himself unworthy of even giving our “respect”, like his opinion on “winning” or “respect” even matter considering he dismisses anything that is not his “style”.
