Lag blob and moar lag everywhere… holy kitten 1h and a half and i couldn’t kittening use any single skill…

Yep we were running around with 4 groups at first… and we even got laggs on the other side of the map. But we even had to group up now to have a chance vs your numbers ^^ But maybe later on we can go back and split up.

And please at least consider less blobbing .Lag is just insane on Piken border. Winning at score is not really worth it to kill the gameplay.

whats happened to Piken, been here since the start and cant get into wvwvw now 2 hours in Q has some big guilds moved here

I was in the queue since the kitten reset. Everyone else seems to get in fine or with 5-10 min queue, but I gave up after 2 hours. After waiting for so long the game can honestly suck a … hmmm Not gonna waste more time, can play other games as well where there are no queues lol.

Maybe more luck tomorrow.

Noticed the same behaviour – I queued for about 30m, one guildie queued for 10m and a third for 1h 30m. Fun part? The third started queuing before both me and 10m queue guy had even logged on… From inside BB border, while we did it in PvE (border usually give priority).

So yeah, queues are kittened again.

Had some nice battles in EB vs River and BB. Didnt manage to take SM for Piken though

GoW had some excellent Fights in BB this evening tho abit to much Zerging specially from RS but tons of bags made up for it. And to answer yes alot of Guilds have joined Piken tho its almost always bin some ques. Its a WvW oriented Server.

Awful reset, with skill lag only matched by the vizombie army.

WTF, never ever faced so many organized Guilds on our Homelands since A-net started this Game;-)
Amazing stuff, i saw GH, INC, Nugos, DsD, BuLL and some others.
Holy kitten, it was like being an sandwich^^.
On the other Hand this Talk about blobbing stuff is boring, will it ever stop?
Everything is said about this Theme, RS is the only Server which blobs so everybody is happy and we could go on.

Let’s say it once again – Piken Square is probably the only server in gw2 which is based on guild raids only + friends. Only our Eternal battleground is random fest, you won’t meet there organised guild ride often. 90% of community know each other.

Thanks for some intenisve fights on RS border, always pleasure to fight vs DsD. Hope to meet you more often guys ^^

Cause we ran also separate yesterday, also others from RS but we are still a blob in your opinion, sounds somehow strange.
As i said above, you have more organized Guilds than RS thats it.
We have much more Pugs as you see thats all about the famous blobbing.
I mentioned this about countless times, but every matchup same kitten.

I don’t know how you guys raid, but I will try to explain it from my/our point of view. Our guilds run seperately, each group containing between 10 to 30 ppl or so. We have our own goals and try to tell the other raids what we’re gonna do. They will then do whatever they think is necessary in return and communicate it back to the others in the zone. Sometimes raids meet at an objective because either they haven’t communicated with eachother who will go there (and they both wanted to take/defend it) or because one asked for backup (which honestly happens less often).

And even when 2 raids meet, for our opponents it SHOULD be really obvious to see the 2 different raids doing their own thing, even when they’re at the same objective. You will see 1 raid go for the north gate when the other tries something different. And then often if 1 succeeds at it they will join to get the reward :P after the cap you will always see us go our seperate ways again.

The same happens in fights. If your “blob” (i’ll just call it blob for consistency please don’t feel offended) attacks our blob that contains 2 or 3 different guildraids, you’re in for a ride. Each raid will attack you differently and most likely at the same time… So instead of having 1 giant group attack your giant group, you’ll have 2-3 smaller groups attacking you in different ways probably making it harder for you to react properly to them. For us it’s like fighting a giant group and having 2 other “squads” somewhere in the fight we have to rely on to succeed. It honestly makes the game more interesting and I think most players and guilds on Piken just can’t understand why not more servers (want to) play like this.

For us, you guys are usually just 1 huge sea of red, when you’re moving through the map AND when you’re at an objective. We only have to know where the “zerg” is and we know that everything else is pretty much undefended.

Kinda long, but maybe you’ll understand my point of view. Interested to reading yours.

Thanks for your post i appreciate it, I realize how Piken plays and so I would play if it were possible for me.
As I have said many times, we have unfortunately not as many organized guilds like you, besides all know each other and as soon a well-known Commander appears with his Guild you stick the whole Pugs on you.
For a few weeks now we run with several commanders on the map exactly to avoid this what you called “Riesenzerg”;-)(Monsterblob)
But there are so many guildless people or simply small guilds there , now I ask what would you do ?
Playing against them? then there is litigation, we were already being “insulted” frequently because we have made ??our own guild raid.
It is a problem that is quite aware, but I would not exclude those from the WvW or argue with all these people.
Anyway I wish simply a bit more respect and understanding, because its not as easy as several people of you present the whole thing.
Riverside is a whole big Pve-Server with a lack of wvw experience.
It’s frustrating for us, but we try to make the best of it.
Thanks again for your substantive post and I hope you understand me a little better now.

Pls guys. Dont Feed the trolls. they dont even write with their main accounts… so why do you give a f… about them?
And as i said above in the reset night we surely had 4 groups running around at PS border. But due to the issue that PS was driven back to their main keep and had that big Baruch Zerg in it, we even had to group up too, to have a chance vs you. But after that big fight in the middle keep we went back in our 4 groups. 1 on the Hills, 1 on Bay, on on your right tower and one running around for camps.
But you and Baruch were always running around in one big group. So we even had to group up again and again…

But thats the game. If you only had your middle keep and baruch wants the last target on your map, you logically defend it with all groups and baruch attack with all groups…

And to the hacker issue… seems like this is the same guild (even without guildtags now) which had shown up in the last matchup.
If i remember it right they were originally from Kodash and went to RS in November last year. But they even got banned. maybe they got only a temporarily bann for about 3 months. idk.

It seems like hacking is back to GW2 I’ve doesnt seen or heared about hackers for about 2 months even on enemy servers. It started two or three weeks ago that ive seen the first hackers again on an enemy server and it took just one week longer to hear from hacking guys on RS. -.-’
So watch out all. Report them and dont give a bad reputation for a whole server. Cause hackers are everywhere -.-’

I have to say, congratulations to all sides, who managed to bring so many people into Stonemist. Skills had about 30s-1m delay (if they popped at all). It was so bad that auto-attack didnt work properly. Hell, even the waypoint lagged out – SM was not contested despite what must have been 200+ people inside the lord room.

When we do Warband Evenings there isnt a single one of us running Full Berserker I can tell you that. But tonight is an “off-night” so they may mess about atm.

Nice fights vs INC today. It was newrly impossible to do anything when reinforcements won’t stop coming.

By the way, I’m starting to hate the “disband” mode, since it’s too hard to do anything… Because you die for the cause, yes. You gain time, yes. You manage to kamikaze siege weapns, but holy kitten you die 727626 times!!!

We caught 2 Riverside hackers on video. But there’s a third one. They’re all mesmers.
We’ve seen them hack the north-west tower in Piken borderlands too. Sadly we couldn’t do anything about it.
Two are sylvaris that look exactly the same. 1 has “Golden title” the other one doesn’t. They don’t represent any guilds to reduce risks.
The third one is a human ; Dark skin with an afro haircut.
I managed to report him but I didn’t catch his name, he teleported away before I could invite him.

Here’s how to catch hackers in WvW :
Select them and then use /join or /invite, then quickly move your mouse to catch their name from the party interface.

Will not complain about blobbing, actually find quite fun chase your tail and waiting for mistake or overextend zerg to reduce it to size when we could finally hit your main group. Lots of friendlies on both sides. GG

Weekend is the weaker time for Baruch, at some hours the maps are empty, our population can not maintain whole timetable.
Those that want duels contact our Fencing Master Tikiitaka, those that want extreme squirmishes in small scale look for Shadows at the worst frontier for Baruch.
