Sigh. For lack of a better phrase, haters are going to hate. We have hardly gotten “stacked”. Winning in this game requires the best coverage you can put out around the clock. Because we win, it becomes easy to dismiss this as “Oceanic PvDoor”. When your server puts out the total points of more than the other servers combined, I think that coverage can’t possibly be the only thing that enabled you to win. I am waiting for people to learn how to lose gracefully instead of trashing on a server for having more players, because we totally have control over our population.

I am on TC and just wanted to mostly agree with your message. I will say that blackgate tends to have some of the best tactics that I have seen in this game and hope you do well in tier 1.

A lot of us in TC are more focused on the fun of the battles than the score. I would rather face servers that have peak times at the same time. Imagine Friday night reset style battles all week. Hopefully in tier 1 you find other servers that match up better with you coverage wise.

according to this, RUIN just transfer to BG, I dont know if you’re all familiar with RUIN but thats close to a 1000 players going to BG. I can already see it in the score so far, never before have I seen BG dominate T2 this much just after 3-4 days.

RUIN is the biggest joke-guild in GW2.
They ran from EU with the tail between their legs. I wouldn’t worry about them too much.

RUIN has been on Blackgate for almost a month now. I am also pretty sure they don’t have 1000 players anymore.

I’ve seen Blackgate’s RUIN, it’s just a few people at this point. I don’t even think I’ve seen more than 5 together.

RUIN doesnt have much at the moment as ykyk said. They’re now rebuilding themselves in hope of February major patch will bring a lot of their old members back to GW2.

The score difference so far isnt really involved with RUIN alone. Blackgate have a lot of people in other guilds that’s not only limited to RUIN btw :P

As a relatively nameless player on Blackgate, I have to say fighting SoR/TC has been tons of fun. [RIOT] doesn’t usually field a huge number of players, generally 5-10, but we’ve managed to find some really good PvP in guilds like [Choo] and [P1NK](spelling?). I’m glad we got a chance to play against you folks and I hope you will have the same feelings about us when we go our separate ways.

War is war and it’s never pretty. But in reality this is a game and the players are allowed to show each other respect and be civil. Best of luck to everyone, have fun.

If I were to guess, I’d say this week’s score has more to do with SoR relaxing a good bit, and BG making a push to make sure they make T1 next week. In other words, one side is more motivated to play than the other, not counting the obvious coverage differences, but that’s been a factor for two months.

Dont think we will come US this week maybe later down line. SOS/JQ full all time and transfer CD is before reset. Would of been nice to bash some yanks tho

I hope BG have far more numbers than the last time around. Would be great to see them offer good competition.

Watch out for SoS’s multi zergs.

You guys make it sound like SoS is the server to beat in coverage. JQ has the same pop when they are ahead in PPT, too.

Yep we did about a month ago… We don’t really have those massive ruin zergs like from ET but guessing its time to rebuild after most of our guys got burned out still hoping that the Feb patch would bring back numbers…

BG has alot of guilds that carry through the night and even the day I usually run with RIOT ,Thai, ICoa, Urge, and KnT due to my SEA timezone and I give them kudos for cleaning up the whole map clearing out majority of the borderlands and the whole EB everyday… so I say Gratz to BG for reaching t1 again!!

LOL, Ruin is on BG now? SOS is screwed. I use to be in RUIN on Warhammer. There is no stopping Archaos. Archaos takes RVR/WVW so seriously it’s borderline insane.

Once again, RUIN today in GW2 is a tiny fraction of their former population. Archaos ain’t around, and you’ll be lucky to see 5 RUIN on a WvW map most nights.

Should have read earlier comments man but Seriously we don’t have the same ruin army that filled 6 guilds and we prolly can’t do the same spawn camping we did on SoS months ago…. So it those forum drama will be delayed until we get back what Ruin was on GW2 back then

Just ignore those SORe losers, T2 matchup has been the most-replied thread in this forum for many weeks now mainly because SoR can’t accept the fact they are being beaten by BG pugs despite how skilled they think they are.

Speaking of which, the self entitled BEASTGATE server who talked the talk for weeks on end sure ain’t walking the walk in T1, lol.

So how is your first week in T1 working out for you? I understand that JQ and SOS can put up a fight 24/7 due to their coverage. Is your oceanic crew faring as well as it did in T2?
